Clean, comfortable apartment in great location

Everything was great. The best homestay from our trip to Sri Lanka. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The location is quiet and away from the main road, but is only a short 5 minute walk into town.

Not much, my wife said there was a strong smell from the bathroom but I couldn't smell it at all. This may have been from outside so not much the homestay could do about it.

This is a small home stay, situated about 5 minutes from the main line of shops and restaurants in Ella. The rooms were a good size, clean and nicely finished. This is a family run business and they were all very nice and helpful. Breakfast was really nice and served on the balcony area just outside of the room. If you are looking to visit Ella and take in the many sights and attractions this is a great option. We booked a driver and whole day tour through our host for a good price.

Warm water and water pressure were a challenge. The bigger room is good, smaller has a shower in the toilet area.

Location is perfect. Close to the city, but still quiet. The people are great, breakfast great. Very spacious

Nicely furnished, equipped, spacious apartment, with welcoming hosts. Very good Sri Lankan breakfast provided. Accessible by car. Located within Ella, with a variety of cafes, shops and restaurants in walking distance.

The bathroom is a little small but all fine flr one person.

Lovely place to stay. Dhanudi homestay is within wamking distance to the train station, the nine arches brige and the little Adam s peak. The room is clean and comfortable. The hosts are lovely and the breakfast was amazing. They gave me recommendations on what to visit and offered to help me if i needed a driver off to my next stay.

The property was very nice and walking distance to town, 9 arches bridge, and little Adam’s peak. Was the perfect property! Nirosha was very nice and friendly and answered all our questions. Best place we’ve stayed in so far in Sri Lanka.

Building work directly above our room very noisy & frustrating, the shower may need attention only warm water & very little pressure

Nice clean fresh room with comfy bed & pillows, short walk into town. Tons of great places to eat, great breakfast served to your room at requested time helped us arrange a car for onward travel

There is a construction going on now, but should be finished soon, and there will be more rooms to stay in.

Place is hold by a very nice and friendly family, who made our stay in the Ella just wonderful. Every day we had amazing breakfasts with fresh fruits, the owner rented us a bike and gave multiple advices about what to see around.

We had a wonderful stay at this place! The room was very spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated — it felt really cozy and relaxing. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, always smiling and ready to assist us with anything we needed. The location was perfect — just a short walk to the nearby cafés and restaurants, and about a 30-minute scenic walk to the famous Nine Arch Bridge in Ella, which we really enjoyed. Breakfast was delicious and filling, a great start to the day. We also used the taxi service recommended by the property to reach our next destination and everything went smoothly — we were very satisfied with it. Highly recommend this lovely place!

Nothing to dislike!

The room and the garden were beautiful! They had precautions for mosquitoes, to keep them away. Everything was provided for us and the host was so accommodating and friendly. I had breakfast on my balcony which was tasty and so much food. The location was great! A short walk into town or a 1 minute drive!

Fantastic stay at this gorgeous homestay. The location was perfect for walking into town to get a bite to eat in the evenings, yet central enough for the likes of little Adams peak and nine arches. The breakfast was exceptional and the lady that runs the place is so friendly and very helpful with everything needed. The place was spotless and lots of detail and thought out into it. Would highly recommend and would love to stay again

The hospitality of the owner and the location of the house is 600m from the main market place which is good. The walk is comfortable. I loved the crepe with coconut filling for breakfast.

The bathroom and toilet are combined in one small space, so the toilet gets completely wet when you shower. It's not the most convenient setup and can be a bit uncomfortable.

A lovely woman who keeps everything spotless and also makes a delicious breakfast! She really takes care of the place, and you can tell she puts a lot of effort into making sure everything is perfect for her guests. The breakfast was a real treat, freshly prepared and full of great flavors. Definitely a great experience overall!

It is very close to the beach road. Then the noise of tuktuk never stop. Worse: the neighbor has also a tuktuk and always go and back even the night

It is a very comfortable place (we were upstairs). Clean and relax. The balcony was great too to get « fresh » wind against the hot weather.

Water pressure could have been better in the shower but this was a minor issue.

Great location as easy to walk to centre in 10 mins but also very quiet. Room was very clean and exactly as in the photos. Breakfast great. Great value for money considering the quality of the accommodation. Would not hesitate to recommend or stay there again.

This was our nicest Homestay in Sri Lanka. The suite was extremely well appointed and comfortable and clean. For a nominal fee our laundry was done and folded. Dinner and breakfast were delicious!
