Very nice place with amazing hosts. We stayed there after a safari in Yala Park and were able to relax very well on the beautiful terrace in front of the room with a wonderful garden in front of it. The hosts were really great. They welcomed us warmly and cordially, prepared tea and snacks for the children and a wonderful and delicious dinner. They showed real concern and empathy for the condition of my wife, who has difficulty walking, and sent us off with a box of homemade cakes. We would be happy to come back again!

Safari is a little more expensive if you are a small group, but it was great going with uncle who spotted many animals

Perfect place to stay with the most amazing family running it! The rooms were clean and comfortable, the outside was lush and beautiful, we could get home made meals for breakfast, lunch, even packed for our safari! Most of all, really thankful for Desika and her husband who even took me to the doctors after an injured leg, so much care beyond just their work, you can stay here with no worries

We stayed for two nights at this wonderful hotel, which is conveniently located close to Yala National Park, where we had an amazing safari experience. Our driver was extremely experienced and could spot even the most hidden animals. We were lucky enough to see two leopards and a crocodile hunting. The hotel owner took great care to ensure that our stay was comfortable in every detail. On top of that, we enjoyed delicious, home-cooked meals prepared specially for us. The whole family seems to be dedicated to creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We highly recommend visiting this place!

We had an amazing time at tissamaharama. The room was super clean and comfortable. We got to participate at cooking and learned so many new things about sri lankan food! The whole family was so nice to us, it was truly a highlight of our sri lankan roadtrip! We also booked safari and transportation from here. Great place, they can easily arrange the safari in Yala National Park, a tuk tuk tour around the lake to see the temples and fruit bats, and sorted our onward travel along elephant road to Ella. They also make great home cooked food that you can eat on the balcony outside your room

At the check out when I needed to pay for the stay I was charged for breakfast that should have been included in safari price as the lady wrote me the day before.

The place was incredible! Clean, peaceful, with hot shower, with a beautiful porch at the front of the rooms to enjoy the amazing garden’s view. But the be honest, the best part were the owners, father and daughter! They were really welcoming, with bigs smiles, attentive! We had such a great time in here even it was a short stay.

Desika is a wonderful host, very kind and helpful. She arranged for our transfer from Ella and our safari to Yala. She is a great cook too: breakfast has plenty of delicious food and the meals she prepared for dinner were really tasty. Can't recommend her dal enough. Our room was big and comfortable, spotlessly clean. Her property is a lovely home with a stunning garden.

We can only recommend staying at Dearly Holiday Home if you are visiting Tissamaharama and Yala Nationalpark. Everything was clean and comfortable. The owners are very friendly and kind. They helped us with the organization for our next trip and were always available. We had the freshly cooked dinner for one evening which we can definitely recommend to choose. It was super delicious and lovely prepared. Thank you very much!

It was one of the best places I ever had. Stay in sri lanka... Very nice host with her family and has been taking care of me since my taxi arrived. Get my snacks and water in the morning before going to safari .. Really, this is what we call hospitality and felt 6 at home with family... Keep it up, Desika, and all the best ....

We liked everything about this place! The family is very friendly and always ready to help with anything! The room is spacious and very clean! The outside area is very pleasant and the food is absolutely delicious!!! We also did the safari organised by them and it was amazing! We would've liked to stay longer and want to come back!
