Our corner room had a breathtaking view, and the owner took such wonderful care of us. She went above and beyond to make sure we were well looked after, arranged delicious extra treats, and even helped us find fair tuk-tuk drivers so we never overpaid. Truly exceptional hospitality!

I highly recommend this place! The biggest highlight is the wonderful host. The breakfast is delicious and filling – enough energy to climb all the mountains! The rooms are clean, the bed is comfortable, and the view from the balcony is absolutely stunning.

Everything was nice!

One of the best stays we had in Sri Lanka. The lady owner is the sweetest and the BEST chef! Every morning we got spoiled with a big breakfast with fruits from her own garden and we also tried Kottu for dinner, which was the best we had. She is also very helpful and makes sure you feel right at home

As other people mentioned the accommodation is a bit further from Ella but we hired a scooter and it wasn’t an issue for us. The road is just behind the rooms but it wasn’t really a bother.

The hostess was excellent. Other than the delicious breakfast we were also treated with snacks, which was very nice of her. The room was spacious and clean and the view from the balcony was beautiful. If I were coming back to Ella I would stay here again.

A downside is that is just on the road, but if it is not too busy you don’t get bothered much; also is not really walking distance from the city center, you need tuk tuk.

This guests house is simple but clean and well kept. The host Nadee is a lovely woman and she is there to assist you with everything you might need. Her breakfasts are just amazing - the best we had. And the views of this place are wonderful!

The hotel is located right on the street, therefore it can be quiet loud sometimes, but it was still ok and didnt interrupt our sleep.

The most amazing hosts! They took great care of us and were extremely helpful. For example, we once got stuck in the Monsun, they managed to pick us up and welcomed us back with tea and snacks. The room was very clean and the breakfast the most generous.

Just be prepared to hire a scooter/car or make sure tuk tuk trips to Ella are in your budget as its a steep and slightly dangerous walk up the hill to ella.

The room was very clean and tidy, we loved the over head shower. The property has an absolutely stunning view of the mountains. The host family were so accommodating, they put on a feast for dinner when we arrived and served large morning breakfasts that we could never finish. They even prepared day packs for us when we went on a safari day tour and for when we left for the airport which was really special.

The location—and especially the view—is stunning. The owner is an incredible lady: so friendly, so helpful. I was bitten by a leech, and she took such great care of me, even bandaging the wound herself. The breakfast was full of delicious goodies and easily the best we had in Sri Lanka. I don’t have enough words to describe the amazing food and the warmth of the host. The room was clean and located on the main street. You might hear some noise at night, but nothing that disturbs your sleep. It’s a bit far from the city center, but that’s not an issue—tuk-tuks are easy to get and very affordable. The bed was big and comfortable, and the view from the room was breathtaking. Overall, it was such a beautiful experience. I truly recommend this place. Communication was easy, and it was actually the most well-equipped room we had: fridge, free water, toothbrushes, even sanitary pads for ladies. The host was so thoughtful—when we left, she gave us snacks for the road. Big thank you!

If you are looking for a local experience in Ella this is the perfect place to stay. What impressed us the most is the hospitality of the family. We stayed for 1 night and it was pouring rain, so as we couldn't go to a restaurant the family prepared us dinner and made us feel like at home. The breakfast the next day was fantastic too. Thank you, we will surely come back!

Honestly the best stay we had in our travels. The family hosting this please is so warm and wonderful, the girls were so sweet and welcoming. The mother is an amazing chef and warm person, the brother has the kindest heart too and helped us in practical ways when our tuc tuc didn't work well which he really didn't have to do. You can notice they go out of their way to make sure you feel taken care off. The food we had (dinner and breakfast) was incredibly tasty, the room very clean, close to Ella city centre and a beautiful view. We would 100% recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful time with such a lovely family! Warm welcoming and always with lovely attentions: fruit juices, tea, advices, tuktuk drives Also the food is amazing! 4 breakfasts and all were different and so good : hoppers, crepes, juices, fruits, burgers, Dahl, Rotti, noodles, toasts and more! The view is also amazing, we saw so many birds! After one week in Sri Lanka this is definetly the best guest house we have had so far. It is a bit far (walking) from the center but this is really not a problem. We highly recommend you to stay there We will miss it for sure

Really lovely welcoming family-run place. Amazing views from the balconies. Breakfast was delicious and enormous! The hotel Tuktuk service was great, cheaper than local Tuktuks, and very easy to book via the hotel's WhatsApp. Tea, coffee and even sodas provided in the room.

It is on the main road into Ella but this did not bother us too much.

The property was clean and very welcoming. Thank you to the owners and team for their lovely welcome. The bed was very comfortable. It was downhill from Ella (just a short tuc tuc ride that the owner can arrange) so was away from the bustle of the town.

The only minus was for us the location. You need a tuk-tuk ride to the main town, but that is the only downside, all the rest was really nice 👌🏻

Impossible to rate this stay high enough! The hospitality was the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka. Food was AMAZING and above any expectations. WhatsApp’d us often to check in whilst walking Ella’s rock (easy to do from the property) also showed us waterfalls to visit! It is slightly down the hill from Ella town but they have there own tuk tuk and can message to use and better rates than in Ella. Nadeena was so lovely and caring even provided a pack lunch for our journey ahead
