The only thing to say is that it would have been nice to have had new water bottles placed in the room every morning and fresh towels.

The family who run the hotel were fantastic! They were always so friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Thank you!

It’s hard to find something I didn’t like. One night the bar next door had a dj playing very loud music until the early hours which made it very hard to sleep. This is absolutely not the fault of the hotel though and I soon drifted off with my ear plugs in!

I had a great stay at Copacabana. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is spot on, right on the beach. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, smoothie, fresh fruit, yogurt, eggs how you like, sausage, bread, cakes and something Sri Lankan each day. The roof terrace is a lovely place to start the day and has excellent views of the beach.

We can't mention any grievances, the only point we would like some variety for breakfast.

We had a room with a ocean view-was amazing. Great location close to the beach. Close to the main road with shops, cafes and restaurants. Wasn’t noisy. Under the rooms is a restaurant also, but for us it wasn’t a problem-great music every evening.

Nice breakfast on the rooftop. Every day some local elements. Very yummy. Balcony direct view on the beach. Walking distance to the bars and restaurants in town.

We liked everything! The room was super clean with amazing sea view. Location of the hotel is perfect! Staff are very kind people, we felt very relaxed the whole time. Breakfast was generous and served on the roof top with the ocean view. Highly recommened, we can't wait to come back!

- The breakfast choice was limited (eggs of your choice, everyday for 7 days) - probably because we were there during off-season. It would have been great to have more variety and fresh fruits, especially that the room price is on the higher end, or remove the breakfast and charge less for the room. - The sun lounge beds are not adjustable. - The water pressure was inconsistent, and hot water took a minute or two to start running. - On a rainy day, there was no hot water.

- Location is great! - Beach view and spacious balcony are fantastic. - Room has WiFi, a fan and an AC. - Host Neeran, his wife and the helper are very friendly and hospitable. - We checked-in 2 hours earlier. - On our last day, despite having checked out in the morning, Neeran kindly allowed us to use a vacant room to shower before heading to the airport in the afternoon. This gesture was much appreciated.

We enjoyed everything.

The room was very comfortable, spacious and had all the facilities you could need. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, we really enjoyed our stay. We really recommend staying here, as not only the hotel, but also the location js absolutely amazing. Right at the beach, near to the centre and only 25 minutes from the beautiful city Galle.

The hotel is located right on the beach and around plenty of delicious restaurants. The rooms were also very clean and spacious. Great value for being right on the beach! Staff were friendly and helpful.

Sun beds need upgrading to something a bit more comfortable, the beach bar chairs need cushions as they are wooden and uncomfortable.

First of all, we would like to thank the owner and his family for their service and kindness during our stay! The owner also works at the airport and by chance the very night we were going home he was working, he came to the front of the plane to say goodbye to us one more time. We were surprised and very happy! Thank you so much! The hotel is right on the beach and has a wonderful view from the balcony. It is neat and clean. Reading the comments about the noise in the bar below we can say that we didn't have any problem all 4 nights. It was quiet and comfortable to sleep. I believe that the owner is doing everything he can along that. Breakfast is served on the roof, everything is tasty and clean, pancakes with honey and coconut will remain in our memory forever.

The bar was our fave in hikkaduwa as a big circular bar with the best staff. We had the best nights here. Room was nice, can’t complain about anything really. Breakfast was nice on the roof too! Perfect location right on the beach

Initial room allocated was very poor. Did not compare to pictures on Booking.com. Complained and negotiated for a better room. Not a good start to my stay but it did improve considerably and I will stay there again.

Breakfast was home made, simple but very tasty. Excellant
