Cocoa Lagoon is a charming, peaceful place about a 10-minute walk from Nilaveli Beach. The bungalows are clean, simply furnished, and surrounded by beautiful tropical plants – perfect for nature lovers and relaxed travelers. The hosts were incredibly helpful – they arranged tuk-tuks, helped us find snorkeling gear, and even prepared gluten-free breakfasts for our daughter every morning. The area is quiet but close to cafes, local restaurants, and small shops. If you’re looking for a calm, authentic Sri Lankan stay surrounded by nature and cared for by warm-hearted people, this place is a lovely choice. It’s not about luxury, but about atmosphere, simplicity and kindness – which we appreciated very much.

This place is truly a hidden gem. It's incredibly peaceful and surrounded by nature a you're right in the middle of a coconut garden! We were lucky enough to spot peacocks, monkeys, and birds right from our balcony. The views from the room were just stunning, and it really felt like we were cut off from the outside world in the best way possible. The staff were all amazing—super friendly and always ready to help. Breakfast was excellent every morning, and the overall service made our stay even more

The cottage in the coconut garden seems like an ideal retreat, offering a cozy and peaceful atmosphere with modern amenities like the super king bed, air conditioning, and Wi-Fi. The remote location adds to the charm, and it's great to hear that the staff was accommodating, helping with transportation and providing a lovely breakfast. Overall, it seems like a wonderful stay!

missing Swimming pool & Bar

Our stay at Cocolagoon Eco-Resort was truly enjoyable. The surroundings were lovely, and the overall atmosphere was quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. We arrived earlier than planned, but that was not an issue—the staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and always available. The chalet was clean and beautifully designed, complete with a charming private veranda that we loved. it was perfect for the two of us. There was also ample private parking, which was a great convenience. One of the highlights was the location—Nilaveli Beach is just a short walk away, and it is absolutely stunning.

The only thing we missed was a swimming pool. However, with the sea on 15mn walking distance this is just a minor detail.

Close to the road, so some units get noise. The place does not have a relaxing aura. Beach is walking distance but need tuktuk after dark. We would book beachfront property with less comfort next time (or increase the budget).

My Stay at Cocolagoon Eco Resort I had a wonderful stay at Cocolagoon Eco Resort! The resort is absolutely beautiful, with charming cottages that are clean and spacious, especially the bathrooms. The garden is lush and peaceful, and the breeze from the lagoon—especially at night—is simply incredible. It creates such a relaxing and positive vibe. The place is very quiet, perfect for a peaceful getaway. Breakfast was excellent, offering both delicious Sri Lankan and Western options. The staff are amazing—super friendly and always ready to help with anything you need. They truly made the stay even more enjoyable. Nilaveli Beach is just a short walk away, and it's a stunning beach. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to relax in nature with great hospitality!

"I had an excellent stay at COCOLAGOON Resort in Nilaveli. value for money, with private cottages in a very quiet and peaceful setting. lot of mosquito in the room . Cockroaches are in the bathroom and inside the towel. No Wifi , No food. restaurant are closed. For 3 person they gave only one small water bottle after that didnt ask anything . They are putting lot of nice photos in booking.com when we go there nothing like that 🤮🤮

A tuk tuk is easily available to get you to the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Really very clean and neat bedrooms and bathrooms. The resort's accommodations were designed with the utmost comfort and relaxation in mind. The beds provided a haven for a restful night's sleep, ensuring guests woke up feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. It was a true sanctuary for weary travelers seeking solace. They stopped there restaurant for some renovations so we had to get lunch and dinner out side. But they give breakfast for some price.

The place is really looks like a pictures.its has really cozy vibe and very relaxing,chilling like feeling.Really recommend for friends and families.Rooms are vey nice and clean, Bathroom clean too....You can put BBQ party in there but u have to get some permission kind a stuff with other guests. But This place worth it for money and give superb vibe...I like that... Recommend👍👍👍

It would be much better if there was a swimming pool

Loved our recent stay at the Good Nature Hotel. CocolagoonecoResort. Great location and quiet place, close to several bus lines. Walking distance to the beach and the Pigeon Island tour ticketing office. Breakfast was excellent and wonderful staff. The bathroom was very clean. Hot water is available. The location of the hotel was great and we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it as a great hotel in a fantastic location.

It was a good experience and the service was very good. Breakfast was excellent.  The beach is a 5 minute walkable distance.  I got all the support and help from the staff. It felt almost home. Rooms and toilets are very clean. I could use all the amenities, and the area is well maintained. it's a very relaxing place and very peaceful. I missed Rex (Dog) 🐕😁.I'm happy to come back again
