Bathroom is slippery than normal condition. It seems they used wrong tiles for the bathroom's floor.

Great place, 5 minutes to the Ruwanweli Maha Saya. Kitchen space also useful and clean. Good staff, Owner also a kind person, It is worth for the price.

Not only the stay but the environment also good. However when you use three- wheeler as a transportation mode you need to be careful with the payments. charged higher than the normal rate. We returned to the holiday home with a normal wheeler which we catch on the road it was so fair value.

Environment was perfect. Stay was very much calm and peaceful. much needed vacation. Worth the money you send and the owners are very friendly. can make a simple meal if you need to do a simple almsgiving.

Nothing really missing. Only be aware that you need a tuk tuk to get there since it is not in the city but it's a quick and cheap way :)

The house is located in nature and has very beautiful surroundings. The room was very spacious and each of us had a big bed. Toilet and extra sink were also in the room. The hosts are a really nice Sri Lankan couple, very welcoming and they cooked us very good food for dinner and breakfast.

The area was very calm and quiet and very breezy. The facilities to cook food and other things were also good. Had enough parking space as well.

Lovely location next to palm trees and rice fields! Super peaceful, countryside living. I ended up staying two extra days just because of this guesthouse.

This was our second night's stay in Sri Lanka, and again part of the reason I booked here is naivety, and part lack of investigation, & "misinformation" in the guide book I was reading. We were seeing the temples & ruins at Anuradhapura, and booked this place as it was fairly central to the main sites, and my impression was the easiest way to get around the temples was by bicycle (it isn't get a tuk tuk for the day), my partner isn't a huge fan of bicycles so thought this would save a bit of travel. I contacted the property prior to our stay to see if they had bicycles available to rent - the reply was yes we have two bikes you can use, or there's a bicycle rental place in the next street - neither was true!! Only one sheet on the bed, no air con (none was advertised, so I knew it was fan only, but it was still pretty hot in the room), the owners son speaks good English but less so the parents, so communication was difficult (admittedly I don't speak Sinhala so not entirely their fault), we had dinner and breakfast there but there was a degree of difficulty organising both meals, and we were watched throughout whilst we ate (a bit un-nerving for us). No bicycles, and isolated property - better if you have your own transport. We were initially booked for two nights but left after one.

After 4 weeks in Sri Lanka, I'm not convinced the rating score is an accurate portrayal of each property. I am sceptical of any review by a person from the same country - too easy to get your friends to put up fake reviews. Not much apart from a nice quiet location.

Beds could have been softer, but were not bad. Due to the heat wave, it was hotter then I had expected, and on hindsight, I should have booked a place with airconditioning. However, this is my own fault, I got what I booked, for a very good price.

Very kind people, very tasty (vegetarian) dinner, amazing location, a quiet place close to the touristic sights.
