Bad timing of my visit.

The hostel was closed for Poyi festival and I was alone for one night, Podi was very sweet and accomodating when I requested him for an early checkout. The puppies are very adorable and you have a lot of locals who pass by to give you enough company.

The way to the acco was very muddy, we stayed a week and had to cross the riverpath daily… Good location though. Staff English was very limited but they were very friendly.

Bit of distance from the main beach (10 min) but it's positive side that it was very quiet.

Very kind and helpful host who was always availabe and happy to help with anything even with a bag of rice for my phone. :) Super cute kids around the house who are happy to interact but not disturbing at all. The king size bed was a big plus too.

When I arrived for check in there was no one there I even called but no body answered then after 30 minutes the owner called back and said he didn’t know that there is reservation for that day. Anyway I waited for him then he asked for more money than the price shown in booking and I said no I’ll leave then he agreed for the price. Also there is no AC and it was very hot in the room.

First, the location is very convenient, you can reach the main road even by a small walk. From there you got access to most of the things happening in the south of Sri Lanka. Me and my friend had the bunk beds, they were super comfortable. Also the bathroom was super cool, it had a patch of plants inside, giving some tropical vibes. Finally, the owner is super friendly, such a nice guy to interact with, very helpful. This place is value for money for sure.

Super friendly Host and very cheap Scooter Rental (1700LKR per Day). Facilities are not special but there is everything you need. The Bathroom is beautiful. It’s good aswell if you are a couple! There are double beds in the dorms so you could meet other couples or people.

No issues as it is a budget stay!

For the budget, the room was good and spacious. If you are in Mirissa for whale watching, this is the best option to stay as it is a few meters away from the harbor. The main beach and Parrot Rock are at a walkable distance. The host, Samantha, was kind and helpful.

Too many mosquitos in the room and absolutely no ventilation in the space. No ACs in any rooms, so it was quite hot and muggy at night. However, we were given insect repellent when we complained about the mosquito problem. There is a live garden in the bathroom - we were okay with it, but if you don't like soil and literal huge plants growing in your bathroom from the floor, then you can avoid this property.

I liked how helpful the caretaker of the property was. He helped us sign up for whale-watching tours as well as surfing lessons. He also let us use his bike whenever we wanted to go into the city, since it had rained heavily overnight and the road leading up to the property was water-logged.

One of the nicest home stays I've stayed.The rooms are super clean and comfy.Really worth the price.Even though the room is small,they arrange the stuff really well and include a lot of services in that price range also.The owner of this place is really nice and a friendly one.Really helpful to us.They have a small restaurant area also.I should definitely recommend this place to anyone.

The place was designed as per European bachelors, or a place where a group of friends can stay, not for family. The location was through a very narrow passage, which was very dark at night, have to use flashlight to go the open road. Our car couldn't go inside as there is no space to turn the car back. The place has common kitchen outside the rooms. No coffee or tea facility inside the room. Just because we wanted to take the main road at the time of check out and for that, we didnt wanted our car to come in that narrow passage in front of the hotel, so we asked the staff to help us with the luggage, and on the way to the car, the staff called our driver "stupid" for not getting the car in that narrow space. overall I won't recommend this place, you can definetly find way better options.
