One of the best places we’ve been in Sri Lanka. The host is the most charming and attentive person we’ve met, always making sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious, the room was very comfortable with a lovely terrace, and the location is great, just a 20 minutes walk to the center. Couldn’t ask for more! Thank you for everything :)

The host was very helpful. He arranged all our trips in and around Kandy. Thanks to him, we discovered everything the city has to offer. He also recommended a restaurant nearby - excellent. The room was spacious, clean and functional. He helped us catch the train the next day. The breakfast was good ! If I ever come back to Kandy, I'll definitely stay with him!

We had a great time at his place! The host is absolutely wonderful—super friendly, kind, and takes excellent care of his guests. It was a pleasure to chat with him, and you can tell he's a hardworking and dedicated person. The house is beautiful, with spacious and clean rooms. It’s also in a great location: close to the center, but still in a quiet, peaceful area. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend!

Owner and my stay. Suneth was amazing, he is always ready to help, as soon as I arrived, he welcomed me with passion fruit juice, it was very refreshing. Even though, I stayed for one night, he gave me a detailed map of Kandy, places I can explore within a day. My stay was amazing and I had a great time in kandy, will visit this stay again.

The host is exceptionally great and welcome, always ready to help you or give tips about Kandy. The room was quite big and clean, with hot water in the bathroom. The walk to Kandy takes about 20-25 minutes. The breakfast was good.

The building is beautiful and the rooms inside even more so. So spacious and clean. At first we were worried about the location, but it is only a 30 minute walk into the centre where the market and restaurants are or of course a couple of pounds tuk tuk ride. But the most amazing part of our stay was the lovely owner Suneth. As soon as we arrived he welcomed us with some fresh juice and we sat and got to know him some more. He is truly the purest soul and kindest man we have met during our travels. He gave us advice about Kandy, helped us with our onward travels and prepared us the best breakfast we’ve had so far. When I couldn’t finish my fruit, he put it in a tub for me so I could take it and eat it on my bus. I urge you to stay with him and experience his hospitality yourself. We will never forget our stay with you Suneth and wish you all the best.

The house was beautiful and had a couple of relaxing balconies with distant views. The host was the nicest host I've ever met. He was so welcoming and accommodating. The breakfast was very good and sumptuous. I'd stay there again, if I went back to Sri Lanka.

We had an amazing stay at Chandi Mahals!! The hosts hospitality was truly exceptional, extremely kind and helpful man who went out of his way to make sure we had a good stay. The included breakfast is delicious and such a treat to enjoy home cooked Sri Lankan meals with fresh homemade juices too! He is more than willing to drop you to local attractions and gave us a list of things to see. He arranges it all! Honestly the best place we’ve stayed after a month of traveling Sri Lanka.

The host is very kind. He booked for us two tickets for traditional dances (red cross dancing), and proposed us a good program ! The breakfast is very good ! Called a tuktuk for us to go train station ! Good and clean room ! We recommend earplugs as the road is nearby, but it remains quiet between 11 PM and 6 AM. Thank you so much !

The owner was very kind and helpful, wiling to arrange anything you need (transport, personal driver, guide to knuckles mountains..). He gave us several wonderful recommendation what to visit in Sri Lanka and Kandy itself. The breakfast was absolutelly delicious! Beautiful balcony, where you can also have a breakfast if you want.

Firstly the host went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. The room was spacious and very clean. The best part was the big balcony where we had breakfast or in the evening enjoyed a beer from the supermarket just down the hill.

Suneth the owner was so lovely and kind and full of ideas of things to do in Kandy. He walked us down to the cultural dance and was always around to answer our questions. Highly recommend!!!! Also the breakfast was unreal every morning! He even kindly made us lunch to take on the train. The room was large and was an easy walk into town

Because the road is down from the house, it is pretty loud. Also adding an air conditioning would be great, since you can’t have the window open and the smells at evening gets a bit stanky. So the smell and air it the room would be better.

We loved the owner!!! Seriously, best so far. He was super nice, gave us a lot od really useful tips and helped us with transport (normal prices) and had AMAZING breakfast. The toast with potato is was the best.
