The owner was very friendly, even suggested us different places to visit around the city. The room was clean and tedious, and a good breakfast was served as included in the reservation.

Very clean and comfortable rooms. The owners were friendly, although most communication was through their young children due to the language barrier. When we were arrived there was some confusion as to which rooms we had booked, however they were happy to accommodate us. A tasty breakfast was provided for 1200lkr per person.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, but in one room was the mold on the walls and theyhad a big problem with water pressure and hot water. The rest was good. When we wanted to pay, they charged us more than we were expected, but when we asked them to keep the prices on booking they did it. They need just update the prices of breakfast on booking and get rid of the mold in one room. I would recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay at this location! The place was spotlessly clean, with amazing rooms and a beautifully maintained washroom (brand new). The food was absolutely delicious—meal felt homemade and comforting. What truly made the experience special was the warmth and hospitality of the owner and their lovely family. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful and memorable stay!

Such sweet host, I came very late tired they offered me dinner and told some nice stories and reccomended good places to travel. Nice view to the stupa from restautant good for laptop work. Madam wife made full table of fruits and other delicious dishes for breakfast.

The owner has a very nice house, the rooms are big and nice and comfortable. Hot water is good but be patient, it arrives 4 min after you turn it on :-) Breakfast was very good.

They are not maintaining proper room booking records, We have booked room for a day when we visit the restaurant, they aren't ready to give the room to us, because the previous guests are not leave the room, Then I asked the management we are booked to this night, and we are coming from very long far but they don't have any answers they are ruined our day very worst.

Very clean and well organized place. owner is a very friendly supportive person. Rooms and washrooms are very well kept and very clean. Comfy beds. Very nice when you come to living area. There is a nice small kitchen area if you would like to cook or prepare your own meal or owner can make any kind of meal too. Close to town if you use a vehicle or tuk tuk. Highly recommend if you Visit Ella.
