The Ceylon Surf Guesthouse is operated by two accommodating and friendly brothers. The rooms are spacious, clean and the beds are very comfortable. A highlight is the breakfast: We were served different variations of typical Sri Lankan breakfast every morning with fresh fruits and juices (they also serve Western breakfast, of course).

It was an unforgettable 13 days of our vacation. Big and clean rooms, comfy bed, the shower looks like new. tasty breakfast. 2 min walk to the sea and surf spots. Very friendly staff and owners. Highly recommended.

Wifi was practically non existent from our bedroom.

Food was great and staff were so friendly and welcoming. Shower pressure and heat worked well! Location was beautiful as it is right across from the beach with lots of restaurants and cafes near by.

Lovely property right opposite the sea. The rooms are big, and we had balconies overlooking the beach. There’s some amazing restaurants and loads to do close by. The train station is a 20 min walk, and the bus station is even closer. The breakfasts are amazing!

Breakfast was wonderful, location was great right across the street from the beach, staff was super nice and helpful. Good view from the balcony of the beach as well, super clean room and great bathroom. Cool rooftop too

In our room the a/c was blowing straight to the bed, which is not perfect. Water was mostly hot, but sometimes it was barely warm, so it wasn't too convenient. At some point we saw a cockroach in a room, so had to catch it. Tropical climate does its job.

Perfect location. Nice administrators. Lovely breakfast with an ocean view. We had a spacious room. There was a repellent from mosquitos available. We paid 33$/ night, and for that time it was a good bargain.

Noisy: main road with a noisy traffic 24/7 and night clubs nearby with a bass music at night. Very slow wifi. A lot of ants in the room and bathroom.

Quite a lot of ants etc. I know this is Sri Lanka but quite a lot. Beds. So hard!!! but generally this is our experience of anything under a certain amount a nigh in Sri Lanka....

Lovely hosts. Largeish room and seating area. We had an upstaira room but the little terraces next to the garden are nice downstairs. Its quite basic. I meam not hostel basic but standard. Good location right next to the beach but very quiet.

The location is great! Rooms and view weee really nice ! Rooms are spacious and very clean! Showers were hot, but worked okay for me since it’s very hot outside. Big confusion when I arrived, he said they don’t have rooms available! I was very surprised! Said why you had online available. He’s just said’ oh sorry m’am! Not available! ‘ eventually found a room for me. I asked for bottle of water, after 40min didn’t arrive. I went down to check where is my water, he was just sitting down chatting to another worker. A lot of small details with the staff, I think they just didn’t speak English well so was very hard to communicate. But all together pleasant stay, but I don’t think I would come back again.

Amazing location. Literally a 1 minute walk to mirissa beach. Clean room, simple. What you see is what you get. Lovely lovely staff!

Our A/C did not work properly Also for the 3 first nights there were other guests that where making a lot of noice, music, yelling and slamming doors until 02 am at nigh.

Just 30 seconds from the beach. Close to alot of restaurants and supermarked!
