The bathroom had an unpleasant smell at first, but they fixed it quickly. The room was a bit dark as it faced an internal courtyard. No hot water

Cleanliness could be improved, as the bedsheets and the room were not super clean. Also, the AC was losing water and we had a small lake on the floor.

The property is well located on the Uppuveli beach, super convenient for whoever wants to relax. The staff was also super nice and welcoming.

The room and guest house is reasonable considering the price. I really loved that is was right on the beach, and a very beautiful beach full of colorful boats, palm trees and sunbeds you could rent for 1000 in the area! So this definitely made up for the conditions, very basic room, but also all you need. Plus ac was good 👍 Helpful and friendly staff, good atmosphere, simple breakfast, but you can see this place is trying so all the best! 😀😃🙂🙃

accommodation at an excellent price considering the location by the beach and the service of an employee who will do all your laundry for you (they got a piece of palm wood for my son), breakfast prepared with love. rooms comfortable, clean. The possibility of great massages directly in the accommodation. you will be alone on the beach, with only fishing boats.

The property is located in a bit of a less maintained and dark area. As a solo female traveller I didn’t feel very safe walking around after dark. There is a lot of men standing right at the entrance of the beach always trying to approach you which felt a bit intimidating. The bed mattress wasn’t the most comfortable. The main gate to the property can be opened by anyone which makes it feel less safe. The doors and walls are thin so you can hear other people outside. The price for the stay is quite high for the quality of the place/breakfast.

The hotel offers a simple but tasty breakfast each morning, it’s located right by the beach which is very convenient, however it is a 10 min walk to the nearest restaurant/bar at the beach. Thank you to Inexshan for being the most attentive host, he is lovely and by the end of the stay you will feel like you just made a new friend!

The sink and shower drain could do with some bleach down them! A bit smelly when you turn the taps on!

Literally 50m from the beach! The lad that works there is a hard working, happy soul, thoroughly engaging and interested in the world. Thank you Inexshan! Rooms are basic, functional, clean and comfortable. Also, a lovely old dog that hangs around, whom we have since named "Lady"! Like myself, a bit grey but still smiling!

No fridge, cold water, tons of mosquitos + front doors that do not shut properly. Breakfast based on options, so no chance to get fruits + lankan food. That’s a bit of a standard to get both and not be made to choose. Room was a bit rundown and in need of TLC.

Quiet, a bit secluded location, very close to the beach and ocean. Nice outside area with a table/swing to spend time. Friendly staff that came every day.

Inexshan was an outstanding host! The omelets he made us for breakfast were super delicious! If you had a question, you could ask him for help at any time. He is an open, very interested young man with whom it is really fun to talk! The room was just as shown in the pictures and the location perfect! Within a minute we were on an insanely beautiful beach between small fishing boats. Clear recommendation!

Very close proximity to the beach is good. But the access* to this very below basic facility*, with a pick-up (vehicle) has not been up to the reasonable expectation. But, may be that is what can be expected in that location of a poor neighborhood.
