We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Near to the beach 5mins walk. The family taking care of the hotel are very nice and friendly. Very helpful if u need anything during the stay. Room were spacious and equipped with basic needs.

United KingdomThe mattress was uncomfortable as I could feel the springs. This was a shame because the room was otherwise very nice.
This is a new hotel, so everything is clean and modern and the facilities are excellent, with good air conditioning and wifi. Although it's close to the main road it doesn't get too noisy, and it's located at a good position next to the supermarket and lots of restaurants and cafes. The beach is a few mins walk away. There's a restaurant outside which is part of the hotel. The rice and curry was excellent value, and very tasty - one of the best I had in Sri Lanka, though as others have said the dal was very dry. The staff are really friendly, and was kindly offered a juice on arrival. I would definitely stay here again.

United KingdomNothing really, the ONLY downside was hearing the bread man in the morning, his tune is still living rent free in my head. But shut the bathroom door at night and you won’t hear him.
Could not recommend this place more. It’s new which is why there’s not many reviews. But best hotel we stayed in the whole time in Sri Lanka and we had been here a month. Big room, clean, tidy, working mosquito net, big bathroom, hot water, aircon and fan working perfectly. Bed is super comfy too. The room was actually perfect for relaxing in, and we did a lot as it was raining a lot of the week. The location was good. 5 minute walk to the beach, less to good food locations, and the hosts were so nice every time we saw them! We’re vegan, but the curry restaurant they have which you can see in the picture, was full every night so it must’ve been good! Honestly a 10/10 place!

NorwayBooked Camellia for one week but ended up staying one month. Spacious rooms, big bathrooms and comfy bed. The location is the absolute best, 5 minutes to the beach and in the middle of all activity but still not on the main street. I will definitely book it again, had the best time ever with the family owning this place and the restaurant is definitely worth checking out because their rice and curry was my favorite dish day in and day out 😊

GermanyLovely people working here, customer service is their number one priority. Hotel room was clean and renovated. Only keep in mind that it’s almost next to the streets, but if you want to be next to the beach I guess every hotel will be that noisy. We definitely can recommend this tiny hotel & wish the staff all the best for 2025, hope to come back one day. :-)

Sri LankaSpacious air conditioned clean ensuite rooms with included towels, a small cabinet, and a desk chair. They are currently improving the place and adding a restaurant. The location is perfect, and everything is in walking distance.

United KingdomTHEY STOLE OUR MONEY!! Do not stay here!!! Then we had 4 of them yelling at us. They followed us on scooters because they didn’t want us to go to the police. Not only that our luggage is covered in ants. There’s also no water. They then came on scooters to chase us down the street to stop us going to the police. The bedding was dirty so we had to have it changed. Honestly TERRIBLE. Do not stay if you want to keep your belongings. They have a key to each room!!

RussiaFirst room had a huge wet spot on the wall. I'm not afraid of mold, but that was too much for me. Second room was not ventilated for some days and had bed smell too. Third room was OK, with nice terrace. Not very clean, but it was cleaned in 10 minutes just because there was no other options :) So I cant recommend this place because for this price you can find room with breakfast included
Got room upgrade when I disliked first 2 options.
