This is a wonderful house and we truly loved our stay! It is so luxurious and the host is extremely friendly and helpful. An ideal place to relax and wind down after a day’s travelling or visiting Anuradhapura. The pool is very welcome… and the food was not only delicious, but we were treated to a variety of Sri Lankan specialties - sometimes with an international twist - and explanations as to how the food was cooked. Strongly recommend booking this if there is availability!

For us this property it is not a 10 out of 10 as we unfortunately didn’t sleep well. This had nothing to do with the host’s efforts. However, its neighbours welcome many stray dogs at night who woke us up as much as 5 times each night, howling, barking, fighting,… even with earplugs you could not sleep through the night.

The property is wonderful and so are the hosts. The property is also very clean. The food was very nice, varied, and the location was perfect.

Our time at Boutique by Sa was simply unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were in our own private paradise — the entire house is yours to enjoy, offering both comfort and privacy in a beautifully designed setting. What truly made the experience exceptional was the personal attention we received. Lasantha, the in-house cook, is an absolute treasure. He introduced us to the rich world of Sri Lankan cuisine, preparing dish after dish of local specialties with incredible skill and love — it was like a culinary journey every day. His passion for cooking is truly inspiring and made each meal a highlight of our stay. Equally wonderful was Mr. Da Silva, the owner of this amazing place, who welcomed us with warmth and shared countless insider tips about what to see and do in Anuradhapura and the surrounding area. Thanks to him, we discovered places and experiences we would’ve otherwise missed. We were 100% satisfied with our stay and would recommend Boutique by Sa without hesitation. If you’re looking for a place that feels like home — only better — this is it !

Very good location, you can ride the bike to temples. It was very clean and spacious that I was stunned with the price because it was affordable. We had the whole place to ourselves and aside from the complementary breakfast, they can also prepare your choice of lunch and dinner. I woke up very early in the morning to catch the sunrise and read a book at the roof deck it was very relaxing.

This was a beautiful house to stay in. It had a modern , large , clean bedroom & bathroom . You are the only guests , and there is lovely staff to help with luggage , do laundry & serve breakfast . The host is great & also very helpful . The western breakfast was delicious ! The house is in a residential neighbourhood , with good security .

We were suspicious of the glowing reviews but having stayed here, they are all thoroughly deserved. Udaya and his team were wonderful throughout our stay. The room was huge, spotlessly clean with every comfort taken care of. The breakfasts were delicious with a different Sri Lankan delicacy each day. Lovely to have the plunge pool too. Highly recommended.

NOTHING!

This was the most amazing place to stay. The room was huge with plenty of seating, a desk, tea and coffee maker, small fridge/mini bar, air conditioner and a fabulous bathroom. The bed was comfortable. The home has solar panels and we were there the day Sri Lanka had a national blackout. The solar kept everything in the house running for hours, while the rest of the town was completely blacked out. You couldn't ask for anything more than that. The host cooked breakfast to order - you had a choice of Sri Lankan or western, both accompanied by fresh fruit, fruit juice, tea or coffee and as much toast as you could eat. The host is a Doctor and delights in entertaining you. The place could not be better. You have to stay there.

A beautiful suite in a unique little boutique guest house where there is only one suite so you will be the only guest. Everything is very modern ,clean and of a very high standard. The owner and staff are extremely friendly and attentive , the food at breakfast and dinner are all home cooked and delicious, a wonderful way to experience Sri Lankan food . The little pool and garden were very peaceful and private , a welcome cool off and relax after a day's sightseeing. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend , we thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Our experience with this accommodation was absolutely amazing. From the very first moment, the hosts charmed us with their incredible kindness and friendly approach. They even organized a tour of the sights in Anuradhapura for us, which was an unforgettable experience. The accommodation itself was very clean, cozy, and comfortable. I liked very much the modern design. Breakfasts were perfect, with fresh fruit every day and delicious dishes. We felt right at home here, and thanks to that, we take away beautiful memories. The place was extremly clean, well designed, comfortable, spacious and modern. Staff and the owner were something you could just wish for-always there to help, smiling and ready to talk. We had the best Srilankan breakfast, which was more of an experience - I highly recommend it! When we arrived, they welcomed us with cold towels and some refreshing watermellon juice. Beautiful suite with multiple terraces. It’s located in a quiet residential area, but close to restaurants and the ancient city. The attention to details, amenities and service are top notch. Upon returning from a hot day of sightseeing, I was given a cool towel. Similarly, the plunge pool was a welcome retreat on a hot afternoon . The room is beautifully furnished and well equipped with tea and coffee and a mini refrigerator. The owner went out of his way to make my stay enjoyable including letting me borrow a bike. Despite an early departure, a wonderful breakfast was waiting for me. My only regret was that I only stayed one night.

Hotel is a perfect leisure stay with a private pool, garden and access to 3 terrace areas. Hotel showcase an exceptional architecture to make sure and comfortable stay and amazing experience. Cleanliness, Hotel amenties are beyond expectation. Staff is very helpful in every aspect throughout our stay in the hotel. Hotel is located in a prime area with easy reach to "pooja nagaraya", city , restaurants, lakes in Anuradhapura. I highly recommend this boutique hotel for anyone looking for relaxed luxurious yet a homely stay.

A beautifully designed private property with enormous, ridiculously comfortable and well serviced rooms and beds, and a lovely small pool area in the garden. We didn’t even make use of our room’s private terrace. We had two delicious meals here (dinner and breakfast) - all home cooked and, again, huge portions. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and the owner went out of his way to help us retrieve a card swallowed by an ATM at the local branch, as well as doing a batch of laundry for us. 10/10 hospitality!
