An very good experience at Blue Wings, a place we recommend for its very good value for money. Here's what we liked the most: Location: Perfect! You are literally steps away from the beach, which is a huge advantage. The View: The view from the restaurant's terrace is superb, ideal for relaxing during a meal. The Staff: A 10/10 team, made up of very kind and helpful people. The Value: Overall, we consider it one of the best choices in the area in terms of value for money.

The property was well looked after clean with everything we needed. The staff were helpful and attentive The food had limited choices but was delicious and generous. The seafood was very good. I really enjoyed the breakfasts too. All great value for money, Lovely view walk into beach

The billed heed to he settled in cash which was fine but mowing ahead would have been helpful

Right next to the sea. Big triple room with plenty of space, and provided adequate tea and coffee and water. Powerful shower with hot water. Owner was very helpful, signposting us to a dolphin watching and snorkelling group. Tasty breakfast for an additional cost, and we also dined there another two times, both meals were nice.

    Nothing, everything was lovely.

    Very near to beach.

the room and washroom were basic. compared to price it seems too basic. However, you cannot call it a complete hotel. more like a building with rooms. No washroom amenities were provided. There were no blankets only sheet provided

The staff is great. Kudos to Tiron who is a wonderful guy. The view is awrsome and you can hear the ocean abd watch fishermen bring in their catch roght on the beach

This property would get 10/10 if it weren’t for the hundreds of crows who caw-caw from morning to night. We love birds but this is over the top. They have taken over the place and sitting outside on balcony is not pleasant So much so that we would have changed hotels if our stay was longer. Also, this stretch of beach is not the cleanest.

Great place to stay in the Trinco area. Beautiful balcony overlooking the beach and a lovely area to eat and relax. Family run place and the owner/staff are so lovely and welcoming. Clean facilities and everything worked. Right on the beach and a short tuk tuk (7-10 mins) from the main Trinco centre / fort or Trinco market (main touristy area). Would definitely stay here again!

great location at the beach, in a more quiet area, but if you would feel the need to see a lot of tourists 5-10 minutes in a tuktuk will get you to there. beach towels provided, beach chairs can be used from the next door restaurant if you order drinks there, which is convenient. (hotel has better food) great owner who helps organize dolphin tours for very good value home cooked seafood dinner with seaview, the fresh fish can't be be beaten. great breakfast sri lankan / european mix. lovely people working there

nothing, very happy about the place

Our stay at Blue Wings Beach Hotel was very pleasant. Staff was very friendly. The room was clean, had good beds, and a nice shower. There was also a refrigerator, which was very convenient. The hotel is located right on the beach, which makes it even more appealing. From the hotel, it’s about a two-kilometer walk along the beach to an area with many restaurants. By tuk-tuk, it takes about ten minutes to get there. All in all, a quiet and pleasant location for a relaxing stay by the sea.

Lovely clean room. Location close to restaurants and in between more tourist Uppuveli beach and the town area and fort Frederick. Close to restaurants for the evening too.

Whilst my son enjoyed the Sri Lankan breakfast every morning. The western one was less inviting.

The apartment is located in a quiet area, just 50 meters from the beach. The staff were very friendly and ready to offer helpful advice. They assist with arranging transportation, dolphin and whale watching tours, snorkeling, and serve excellent food in their own restaurant.

The rooms look way bigger and more beautiful then on the pictures. We had seaview from our room. The location is just perfect. A 10 sec walk to the quieter area of the beach. But enough facilities in the neighbourhood. The family made us feel very welcome. The food was delicious too. Genuinely positive surprised by the hotel.

    Absolutely nothing.

We were welcomed to this 10 Roomed Boutique family owned hotel by the owner Mr Praba with a friendly smile and a nice welcome drink. The place is located 50 Metres from the beautiful sandy beach front, the rooms are new and the bathroom is spotless. The first and second floors have great views of the bay. We had a TV, Ceiling Fan, big Fridge with some supplies and an Air Conditioner to keep us cool. The Staff are well trained and genuinely helpful. There are four rooms in the ground floor and three in the first floor and three rooms in the second floor. The third floor - no rooms butr offers a view of the bay. There are tables and chairs on each floor and in front of each room. Note. There is no elevator available for the upper floors but the staff were extremely helpful with the luggage. I would like to say a few words about Mr Praba, the owner who knows everything there is to know about Trincomalee and surrounding with several contacts to get things done. He also knows the hospitality business...being an excellent Chef .( Try his Garlic Crabs with Buns and Chicken Schnitzel and Salad) He leads from the front...I mean literally. He is there all the time and knows what is happening and is a fount of all knowledge He is a ' hands-on ' owner. . He was very helpful, flexible and generous . Thankyou Mr and Mrs Praba and family for making our trip to your City a truly wonderful experience.

    Err.....I'm still thinking 🤔.

The owner is a great person, always willing to help with anything in his power. Great staff, tasty breakfast, nice view from the 2nd floor terrace.

The beds produce a strange sound when you lie on them. The biggest issue was the shower that had no curtain, therefore when you shower the entire bathroom floor becomes wet. Also, there are no bars and restaurants in this part of the beach, which is why we were going to Cafe on the 18th, Snack Bar Hawai and Waves up north on the beach.

This place is a real gem for families with young kids, and anyone who loves beach side accommodation. The beach is close. The room and bed is comfortable. We had such good meals with protein and salad that were suitable for children. The owner and staff are so considerate and attentive to our needs. Thank you for everything.

The staff were super helpful and the food was great! I extended my trip and they sorted me out perfectly. I was able to work from here whilst also travelling around the coast. 30 seconds from the beach so it was lovely for a morning swim.

I’m a solo traveller so perhaps more for couples and families, however I still felt very welcomed
