Great hosts and very clean! This is an excellent place where guests are very well looked after. Wasi, the owner, is always around, attentively catering to the guests' needs. His friendly team keeps the place spotless. It's not too far from the beach and other attractions. The meals were quite tasty, and the prices were very reasonable. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The place was very clean, spacious (both room & bathroom) and offers amazing food. The place looks much better in real than how it looks in the photos. There are so many power outlets conveniently located throughout the room. This place is just 10 minutes walk from the beach or 2 minutes drive. The best part is Vaseekaran and his team! They were amazing and very good at hospitality. Super friendly and willing to help us in all possible ways. The canteen is dedicated only for the hotel guests, and they provide lovely freshly cooked meals. We mostly dined here only and loved their meals. The seafood platter was so nice and we can feel all of them are fresh catch. The place also offers laundry service which was very convenient. Definitely we will stay here in the future when we travel again. Highly recommended :)

This place is tremendous mostly because of the helpful friendly staff and very spacious super clean rooms. We only had breakfast as take away because we had to leave early and it was delicious. Naveli beach is situated walking distance from here which is very convenient.

The only thing that would make our stay even better is if there were a mini fridge in the room. Also the shower could be a bit warmer, but these are minor things.

The friendly staff. Vasi and Sunjay did everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The other people they recommended, like the tuktuk drivers were also very nice. We also enjoyed the food at this hotel. The fruit was always fresh, the coconut curry with coconus sambal was one of the best i’ve eaten and they gave everything with a smile.

Blumarine Nilaveli is simply amazing! The property is beautiful, peaceful, and instantly makes you feel at home. Our room was huge, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully designed with great attention to detail. We spent four fantastic nights here. Amazing staff who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The food was always delicious. Close to the beach and the staff are very helpful with sorting boat trips and transport. The rooms are huge and really clean.

Amazing stay – highly recommended! We had such a wonderful time here! The staff were absolutely perfect – incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. When I had a small accident, they went out of their way to assist me with care and kindness. The room was spotless – by far the cleanest and most well-kept we’ve seen so far in Sri Lanka. Everything was immaculate and thoughtfully arranged. The food was also exceptional. After some disappointing meals at other places, we were so happy to find that every dish here was delicious and prepared with care. The location is great too – just a 10-minute walk from the beach, making it ideal for a relaxing stroll or catching the sunset. One moment that really stood out: we had an early morning dolphin-watching trip, and the staff kindly arranged a takeaway breakfast for us at 5:15 AM. That level of service is rare and truly appreciated. All in all, a fantastic stay. Warm, clean, welcoming, and run by people who truly care. We’d come back here without hesitation!

To improve, the breakfast could be a bit smaller because there was so many things that we couldn't finish it. Maybe you could show what is available and we pick what we are interested in. This would prevent waste :) Also, it would be nice to have a second towel for the beach :)

The staff was very attentive and friendly. The restaurant was great with reasonable prices. The breakfast was also delicious and very consistent. The room was huge, extremely clean and cozy. It is located around 7 minutes from the beautiful Nilaveli beach and you can easily arrange a tuk tuk drive from and to Trincomalee. We highly recommend this place and wish the staff a successful business venture.

Everything was good. If at all Inhave to say something I would suggest to mow the lawn and white wash compound wall. It was more an eye sore on otherwise beautiful property

Great rooms and really helpful staff. Lots of space to relax in your terrace too. Everything about the stay was good, the shower was great, the Sri Lankan breakfast varied each day and was plentiful. We asked for a different top bed sheet and for water with our breakfast and they were more than happy to provide these, so just let them know if there is anything else you require. The staff were fab and also arranged tours and transport at good prices for us as well as local knowledge of places to visit. We walked to the beach and loved swimming in the sea and good local restaurants are just 2 minutes away if you wanted to eat out rather than at the Blu Marine. We were really pleased we stayed there for as long as we did.

The team at this hotel are among the best I had experienced in regard to their hospitality, they were always attentive to your needs and would want to make sure that your stay was excellent, their food was great. They have only been operating for less than one year and still needs a few amenities such as a fridge to add value to the room. However, the staff do make up for the lack of amenities. The room was cleaned on a daily basis and to a high standard. Keep up the great service.

The air conditioning was too warm and the fan was noisy. The humidity was particularly high in June, which made it difficult to cool down. Since the rooms had high ceilings, a single air conditioner might not be sufficient to provide adequate cooling. It took several hours for the temperature to drop.

The staff warmly welcomed us. The crushed papaya welcome drink cooled us down from the scorching hot sun when we checked in. The chef prepared Sri Lankan crab as I had desired when I ordered lunch. They also checked with us on our breakfast preferences. The toilets and rooms were spacious and clean. Everything was perfect.
