Our family of four was looking for a quiet place near Mirissa to enjoy its pristine beach, but most accommodations were located in the busy town area. Fortunately, we discovered Bali Villa, a calm and well-maintained property just 1.5 km from the beach. The villa offered the perfect balance — peaceful surroundings for relaxation and easy access to the beach within a 5–7 minute drive. The environment was clean, serene, and ideal for unwinding away from the crowds.

Tranquil little haven away from the busy tourist area of Mirissa, with so much wildlife on your doorstep - monitor lizards, peacocks, monkeys, birds and the friendly dogs. Great to explore the small trails nearby on the bikes. Extremely helpful staff and owner. Would stay there again.

The villa is situated along a lagoon where you can enjoy some activities like sup and a some canoeing I suggest early morning to enjoy the sunrise. The bedroom is spacious and clean. The manager Niluk even made sure to keep my room air conditioned because I arrived late in the evening. The bed is big and comfortable which was just what I needed to end my trip in Sri Lanka. The villa is situated a 5 to 10 minute bicycle ride from Marissa which was perfect and they offer bicycles to the guest. I loved my stay at Bali because Niluk the manager is one of the most hospitable and kindest people I've met and he goes out of his way to make your stay as comfortable and hassle free.

This place is absolutely amazing!! I wish I could’ve stayed longer. The rooms are so clean and have balconies that I loved to sit out on in the morning. I was so grateful to use the rooftop for yoga, washing machine, and bikes to ride into town. Niluk and staff are so wonderful and accommodating and make you feel right at home. Plus there are the cutest dogs onsite, as well as monkeys, peacocks, and cows! Niluk went out of his way to help with anything we needed — he’s truly one of the best hosts I’ve ever experienced. Thank you Niluk for such a wonderful stay!

This villa is heaven on earth, you are truly surrounded by nature with wild animals roaming the grounds such as peacocks and water buffalo. With all the liveliness of Mirissa just 10 minutes away it’s hard to believe you could be somewhere so tranquil. Niluk the owner looked after my friend and I from the moment we arrived until the moment we left and went out of his way to make our stay comfortable providing yoga mats, free bicycles to cycle into town and even herbal tea! It was our best 5 days in Sri Lanka and I just wish I could have stayed longer at the villa!

A hidden gem in Mirissa, great location if you like a cycle into the centre with great scenery. Even seen a few turtles, lizard, spider and monkeys on the balcony. Very close to the train station also.

This is such a lovely hidden space, far away from the noise streets. This place is so nice, in the middle of nature. If you seek for a more quite place, which has really nice rooms and also a common rooftop, this is the place to go! And no mosquitos if you close the door.

We traveled almost the whole island but this place turned out to be the best, complete peace: only you and nature, magnificent nature, every morning you are greeted by peacocks, no fuss and noisy vibe, nevertheless it is quite close to the beach. Super friendly and hospitable host Niluk, you can ask for saps and raft down the river in search of monitor lizards (we saw two)

Great villa, located 12 minutes drive to the beach on the scooter. Mirissa beach is clean, there are small waves. The villa is located in the tropics, there is a river with varans , many birds, monkeys, peacocks, squirrels. Very quiet, only the sounds of nature. The rooms are clean, large, have a good toilet and shower, there is hot water. Not a bad Internet. The host Niluk is a wonderful person, will help you with any question and make your vacation wonderful.

Absolutely perfect stay! The setting is just beautiful - surrounded by nature and wildlife such as peacocks, squirrels, birds, and even a friendly monitor lizard that lives in the river! I felt like Cinderella! The neighbouring dogs love to visit and they are absolute sweethearts who made our stay even better. The hotel has a couple of paddleboards which you can use for free to paddle up to the lake, which was an amazing and peaceful experience. Thank you for everything Niluk!

Wonderful property worth the buck.My family had a great time.The place is a natural ecology on its own and care has been taken by the staff not to disturb the same . You would find the most wonderful dogs,fishes,peacocks,monkeys and monitor lizards. Mr Niluk was a wonderful host and very responsive .He was helpful with his suggestions and was enthusiastic to provide the best service.Will definitely book it again when in Mirissa.

Our experience at this hotel was nothing short of fantastic. The owner went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. The cottages were beautifully designed and equipped with everything we needed. Well this isn't a property if you want to have a quick walk to beach or be near busy market & restaurants. You need to go with this expectations. Also you don't have a fully functional restaurant.

This property is surrounded by nature.. you are welcome by peacocks, birds, monitor Lizard, dogs and many more animals. Niluk goes extra mile to make your stay easy & memorable. The tuk tuk are available to beach for LKR 500. The rooms are spacious & open to a serene cannal flowing.

Everything. Peaceful and relaxing. We were provided bicycles to roam around in Mirissa which was really great. The staff was very very helpful. The owner was not available but he helped me out in arranging my travel from Mirissa to Colombo.

If you ever want to stay in Mirissa, this authentic hotel is the perfect option. All the necessary facilities are provided in the common areas, even washing machines and a microwave. The rooms are new, nicely and painstakingly decorated, with a perfect balcony overlooking the river side. So you can laid back at the evening and enjoy the nature. The owner of this place is the nicest guy. The commute to the beach area is not complicated or long at all. It's not a drudgery because you constantly enjoy peacocks, storks and other promiscuous animals around. The owner can help you rent a scooter and you can park it under the canopy. This place helps you to unfold the true unimaginable vacation in Sri Lanka, and I will remember it vividly.

Perfect location, walking distance to beach through nature. The hotel is away from the noisy city center. Sunrise, direct through window, was amazing to wake up with. The private balcony is facing the water. Breakfast was amazing and a large portion with a wonderful river view . A lot of birds are around the location. Overall a wonderful place to relax .

Only the location is a bit remote, so you need a scooter or a tuktuk and the way to the street is a bit bumpy. But if you're looking for a quiet and beautiful remote Location, this is the best choice. If it had a pool it would have been perfect.

The accomondation was spotless clean, no mold no nothing. The build quality was really good, the AC worked perfect. The garden was extremely beautyful, nestles between salt water mangroves. We had a balkony directly on the water side and we've seen an eagle, big fishes and several birds. There were almost no mosquitos because the water is salt water. The breakfast was the best we had in an accomondation in sri lanka. We could use the kitchen and the washing mashine and the host was very friendly.

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Bali Villa Mirissa. The villa was spacious, fully equipped and very comfortable, set in beautiful gardens and with breathtaking views. What did you like? I stayed one day at this lovely place. Bycicles are complimentary for the guests, and it takes a few minutes to ride them to the beach. The breakfast was generous portion and very yummy. The staff is kind and always ready to assist with anything. The rooms are new, and very clean. The area is very relaxing and quiet with an amazing sunrise.
