It could be a bit noisy at night because it’s close to a bar that plays music until late. Also I asked for help to book a taxi to Arugam Bay and I was charged more money without being told, but this is something that could be avoided with better communication.

Very good breakfast made by Kasun. The facilities were always clean and the location is very close to town, so you can easily get around on foot.

My room was quite good, just a little hot, the family quite friendly, and it was clean, also when we needed to extend they were fully booked but they offered us a room in the hostel next door and that was also incredible. Very nice family

WiFi was just ok. Hostel is located up a hill and a little difficult to distinguish from the other hostels next to it.

Lovely hosts prepared delicious breakfasts and were very accommodating. They even took my laundry down before it rained while I was out!

Love this place. Been here twice now and it's such good value for the money. The hosts are super lovely and very helpful. Kasun speaks very good English and helps you with whatever you need. Also rented a scooter from his friend to drive through the north. The family also makes a good, cheap breakfast. And the sunrise on the rooftop is fantastic

Kasun is a great host! The hostel is just a quick 5 minutes walk from ella trainstaion. Everything is super clean and comfortable. The Breakfast is great and Kasun has many suggestions for activities around Ella. You can also rent a scooter directly from the hostel. All of this for such a great price!! Don‘t miss out on this!

Cool vibes, and relaxing. Great views and good breakfast. Next to the railroad, but you can have a nice sleep. Away from Ella main road, so is more quiet. Nice warm shower, chill out place in case it is raining. Ask anything to Kasun, he will be always ready to help.

Very basic hostel with all the basic needs sorted. The vibes are just amazing. Beautiful view. Really friendly staff. Lovely breakfast too. Overall this place is a great stay. I made some amazing friends here.

I must say that this was the ideal location that I've been looking for a long time. this location is close to the city and many attractions. Further service is really good and had many books for reading too. no noise after 5 and you'll feel like your in the middle of no where with peace around you. recommend.

The sweetest and most welcoming hosts. Hostel is very well located, just outside of the busy and noisy city center but only 5 minutes walking distance, easy to access. Delicious breakfast. Super clean room and bathroom. Nice view of tea plantations from the terrace. I highly recommend. Thank you for also helping me out with the police station 🙏🏻

The only drawback is that the music from the parties is quite loud at nights, and made me wake up a couple of times. Otherwise, it’s great value for money!

Great location close to the main street & train station, yet right next to the tea plantations :) The staff are the kindest people, making the most delicious breakfast!
