The place is comfortable and the host family is very friendly and flexible. Location is also very good. We enjoyed our stay at Avacado City Guest and hope to come back again.

Slightly far from city about 30 minutes but it’s walkable for those who don’t mind .

Super comfortable and clean room and toilet. There’s a big shared balcony with an amazing view . The room is super cozy and they have a waiting area for you to chill on the sofas for extra space. There’s was filtered water machine with hot and cold water which is really amazing .

I really don't understand how this place is so highly rated. First of all, the room they gave us was not the one we booked, it was way smaller. The bathroom was not the one in the picture, no boiler for hot water but a similar one that had electrical cable exposed in a dangerous way. The room smells a lot and is terribly humid (all our dry clothes became wet just staying there for 2 nights). The room is very cold at night and there is no heater and windows don't close well so the outside freezing air comes inside with the humidity as well. The bed was so tiny and there was only one socket in all the room. We told them that it wasn't the right room but the other choice was one bigger and not cleaned so we kept the first one.. In the bathroom there was soap already used and the cleaner of the WC left with no container. The other main problem for us was the man from the family hosting. I want to underline the fact that his wife and daughter are very kind and helpful, I cannot say the same for him. Since the early morning we had to come he texted me a lot, called me and not being nice and friendly with us. When we arrived he asked us if we needed the towels or we already had ours: they should give the towels included with the reservation, even if I had mine! The last day we got so much rain with everything wet and the room was cold and humid so I asked if they had a hairdryer to gently borrow. He didn't reply and he went buying a small electric heater, which I really appreciate, since he asked me for more money to use it for each day! He doesn't care about the people but just to charge a little more money.

Part of the family hosting is kind. The location is nice with a beautiful view.

The hotel is exceptionally clean and well maintained,making the stay very comfortable .The staff are friendly and treat you like family ,which creates a warm atatmosphere . I would definitely come back and recommended this place to others.

One of the beds had old bedsheets.

We stayed for 2 nights. The temperature is colder there and during the night I was cold sleeping so I wore a hoody. One of the beds had older, worn bedsheets that was very bobbly. The host was very kind to take us for a Sri Lankan breakfast and a tour 3 tea plantation for a extra cost. He did offer to drive us to Ella but he was more expensive than pick me. So we declined.
