EVERYTHING! The hotel was amazing in every way. Very large and comfortable room. Bathroom and shower exceptional. Beautiful surroundings. Staff above and beyond.

The bathroom, although very clean and well equipped, should have more natural light. It was a bit dark.

The hotel is very beautiful, exactly as shown in the photos. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. The staff were extremely friendly. The pool was large and very beautiful. The hotel is only a few minutes away by tuk-tuk or car from Lion Rock and Pidurangala Rock.

We loved everything! Stayed in a suite with private pool which was amazing. Everything is new and luxurious. The hotel is beautiful and exceptionally clean. The staff take such good care of the property. It is easy to get around and see the attractions and the hotel helps with any requests you have. The breakfast was amazing.

Friendly staff who took time to show our children around all the wildlife. The rooms and site are lovely, ponds with fish and frogs; the children enjoyed feeding the fish. We all enjoyed the swimming pool. Breakfast was beautifully presented, delicious and too much for us to eat.

The pool was lovely in this small boutique hotel. The staff are very helpful and courteous. Sri Lanka breakfast was lovely every morning and all the dishes clearly explained what they were and how they should be eaten.

A very enjoyable stay, we recommend it. Very friendly and professional service, from the restaurant to the reception and other staff. The place is very clean and well-maintained. We recommend the services of the hotel driver, Dammika. He showed us all the attractions in the area and drove us halfway across the country, making us feel like we were in good hands the entire time :)

Staying at Atha Resort was nothing short of perfection. Our suite was absolutely stunning – spacious, elegant and surrounded by tranquil greenery that made it feel like a private retreat. Every detail was thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation. The staff truly made the experience unforgettable. Warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming they went above and beyond to make us feel at home from the moment we arrived. It’s rare to find service that feels so personal. If you’re looking for peaceful luxury with heartwarming and hospitality Atha Resort is a must. We’d return in a heartbeat.

We surprised our parents with a night away in the Atha resort. The entrance, the room, the personal all were fantastic. They had a very nice diner and an amazing breakfast. There suite had a infinity pool which they enjoyed a lot and the view was perfect.

The only issue was the internet was poor, although they did attempt to fix it. Ok for email not good at night to stream.

The hotel is fairly new and well maintained. The breakfast is very good and made fresh to order each morning. A big change from the usual buffet full of flys. The pool is area is excellent.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an exceptional 2-night stay at Atha Resort — a true hidden gem! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel completely at home with their warm hospitality and attention to detail. The rooms were spacious, beautifully designed, and spotlessly clean, with thoughtful touches throughout. Our private pool area was pure bliss — peaceful, private, and surrounded by nature. We also loved the delicious meals, especially the local dishes packed with flavour and freshness. It was the perfect base to explore Sigiriya and unwind in comfort after a day of adventure. Atha Resort exceeded all our expectations. We only wish we had stayed longer!

Atha Resort exceeded our expectations. The property is beautiful, the staff extremely friendly, and the breakfast with local delicacies simply outstanding. Our driver from the hotel, Dammika, always took us safely from place to place with a warm smile. Communication with the hotel staff was at times a bit difficult, leading to several misunderstandings, which is why we are deducting one point.

Beautiful hotel, amazing breakfast, lovely pool and super kind staff. Cannot recommend Atha resort enough! A very special thanks to Dammika, the driver, and to the lovely girl studying software engineering. The entire staff wa amazing though. A wonderful stay.

There was nothing to dislike

We absolutely loved our stay at Atha Resort ♥️ All the staff here are beautiful, always smiling and nothing was ever a problem. Ishan was extremely helpful with suggestions and booking drivers for day trips and to see all the local attractions. Ravidu was also lovely to chat with at meal times and carefully explained all the dishes on the menu. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and exceptionally clean. In fact the entire resort was spotless and beautifully maintained. The food was next level and easily the best we’ve eaten in Sri Lanka. If you’re staying in Sigirya, I highly recommend staying here. Everything was perfect !!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
