Maybe the mattress of our first room could be more comfortable

Kamal (the owner) is so kind and helpful. He can arrange for you the best deal. The location is perfect for us. Just close to Ella but not in. It's quite and in local village. Easy to find wonderful local restaurants and other activities to do. Good adaptator plugins

A great choice for us on a budget. We had two rooms together, giving us use of the balcony in front. Close to the Halpe Tea Plantation and the Buddhist temple. Also next to the bus stop into Ella. The shop next door was an added bonus. Warm and welcoming hospitality from the host. Helpful messages and guidance for our stay.

It's fine for me

This place is on the side of the road, but it's quite private and quiet. It's well located, allowing you to walk to some attractions or take the bus that passes by the door. It's quite clean, the room is spacious, they have food service, and they're very helpful.

I really enjoyed staying here. It's a comfortable room a little bit outside Ella - about 40 minutes walk, or you can get the bus. The walk is very nice though, through the countryside. The bed is comfortable, and the bathroom is good too. There's a nice shared terrace/balcony where you can eat, read, or relax. Kamal, the owner, is a really good guy too, always willing to help. You can have breakfast at the homestay as well for a reasonable price.

Headboard needs some cleaning :)

This is an extreme budget-friendly option. But what makes it a 10 is Kamal, who is a very kind and helpful host. He also has great recommendations and can help you organize tours or anything you might need. It’s not luxurious but it’s comfortable and you’re in great hands with Kamal and his family. Also we loved having a convenience store right door!

We had a wonderful stay at ASK Homestay. Kamal is an amazing host: always friendly, helpful, and full of great advice about Ella. He took the time to recommend routes and activities, and was always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. We had both breakfast and dinner at the homestay, and every meal was delicious and generous. I’d absolutely recommend staying here if you’re visiting Ella!

Very helpful and wonderful guide. The room was very nice, clean, and hygienic. The location was also excellent. We are very happy with our stay. He helped us a lot in finding the viewpoints without charging any money, and his videos were also very helpful.

Authentic home stay. Clean room and bathroom. Garden / forest view from the (shared) balcony. Kamal the host is very kind and will tend to your needs, providing itineraries, routes, scooter and/or tuktuk. All you have to do is ask and enjoy your stay. The place is near shops and a restaurant but 40mn walk to Ella city center.

The host is super friendly and helped us with every little thing we needed, from planning our days to helping with bus routes. The bed was really big, we had soap, towels and a fan provided. The location was just outside of Ella but there is a bus stop right outside that goes into town or there’s a lovely path you can take to walk there which takes about 40 minutes. Exactly what you would expect for the price but we really enjoyed our stay here and would stay again.
