Very slow and chaotic restaurant. Absolutely unbelievable how a restaurant can take 40 minutes to make a club sandwich and another 30 minutes to make the second one if you order two.

Room was OK, bit rough around the edges and outdated but did the job. Shower wasn’t warm at all.

Located right on the beach front, 10 min tuk tuk from Fort Frederick. About 15 minute tuk tuk to Uppuvelli beach which is full of tourists. Staff were really attentive and caring. Food was tasty in the restraunt.

Not really a negative but breakfast took a long time to come. Both times we allowed at least an hour for our driver and both times we ate very rushed. Not an issue if not on a busy schedule as it was beautiful food and setting for breakfast. Maybe it could start at 7am instead of 8

There are quite a few stairs to navigate to get to rooms on the upper floors. There is no elevator.

This is a mid price beach front property with very friendly helpful staff who will assist you to make arrangements for snorkelling, cruises, sight seeing etc. You also have free pool use at their sister property in Uppuveli, which is a very classy property. I accidentally left my prescription glasses behind and they are sending them by courier to my next destination.

The wifi was slow and kept disconnecting. Breakfast choice is limited. Price is expensive for the facilities in the hotel but worth paying for the amazing location right on the beach.

Fantastic location right next to the beach. Staff were amazing and very helpful. The food service took time but the food was good and fresh. Superb place and away from the crowd of Nilaveli and Uppuveli.

The TV didn't work very well and we didn't get regular water top ups. The food took a while to arrive, but it was very nice when it did. These are all very minor things though.

The location was amazing. Looked out on Dutch Bay, which is quieter than Upaveli and Nilaveli and it was twenty steps to the sea, which was very calm and easy to swim in.

Beautiful location right on Dutch Bay beach, the sea is calm and clear. Every member of staff was friendly and helpful . Maheshika, the receptionist asked us daily if everything was satisfactory and the young man with glassses (didn't get his name, sorry) was also very helpful. Breakfast was good and I particularly enjoyed the granola fruit bowl. The hotel is about a 20 minute stroll along the front to Fort Frederick. Overall a lovely place.

The staff meant well. Run by some young lads . However, the service was a bit haphazard. They really need to inform customers that water is free, the internet which wasn’t working for 2 days is because each floor has a different password for the router. How am I supposed to know this if you don’t tell me?? Also the toilet in the lobby needs a lightbulb and a door that locks. So that a member of staff who is using it is not disturbed by patrons!

The boutique hotel is charming and right on the beach. It was clean and the room lovely.

We didn’t like the breakfast, maybe it will be tastier for others.

The location was near to town and it was convenient to get what we needed from outside as well. And the rooms were very clean, quiet & beautiful. The our rooms had a balcony which clearly see the beach view. The dinner we ordered was delicious. And specially their customer service was amazing. They were very helpful and friendly. Definitely value for money.

Fantastic location right on the beach. Super helpful staff, got our air conditioning fixed on Christmas day, no problems. The room was lovely with a balcony looking out to sea (2nd floor is better than 1st floor). Breakfast is great but takes a while to be served so best you're not in a hurry. Would have stayed longer if we could.

The staff members were amazingly friendly and supportive. The food was great. You've gotta see that beach front on a sunny day morning. Simply breath taking. They have a car park which they lock up too. For a boutique hotel, that's just great.

Being on the third floor was great for the view but a little tiring to repeatedly walk the stairs. But it was probably good for my fitness.

Lovely lobby and restaurant with a direct ocean view and beach access. The decor has an almost Mediterranean holiday feel. The view from our room was special at all times of day, even at night with the lights of the fishing boats on the horizon. Dutch Bay is an idyllic beach for swimming and is also close to the historic Portuguese fort for exploring. Great local meals and very friendly staff.

Needs a bit of TLC in the rooms - paint on the wood is chipping, fixed bedside table nearly falling off the wall. Breakfast was not inc and overpriced for what it is with minimal selection.

Decent stay for Trincomalee; the rooms are bright and have most things needed for a short stay. The staff are the best part - very friendly and welcoming. Location is in a quieter part of the town.

Our room (pretty small) facing the street was not very quiet, due to the noise coming from the street itself and from the hotel on the other side of the street, right in front of our room. Highly recommended sea-view rooms to avoid this issue with the noise coming from the street It would be great to have a couple of few more chairs/sunbeds on the beach in front of the hotel Slow service at the restaurant
