TV didn’t work. The fridges were ugly and need urgent replacement. At some point the staff took away our A/C remote without explanation… so we couldn’t control it for the whole night. The rooms could use mosquito nets over the beds. We got a lot of bites during our stay. Breakfast is just fruits and toast and eggs. We preferred to have our breakfast in town.

The triple rooms are spacious and very clean. The bathrooms are good with shower door and all is spot clean. The location is very quiet and close to Kandy city center, only 1km and makes for a nice walk. Staff is attentive and friendly and always around. They kindly let us eat our take-out on the terrace and even provided us plates and cutleries. That was really appreciated.

I booked a room in this hotel as a last minute solution to extend my Kandy stay and I was very surprised to see it wasn’t full! The whole place is tastefully decorated and is very clean and in a great location if you don’t want to be near the pretty congested Kandy traffic. I was able to do an early check in at 7am in the morning before my Knuckles Range hike with the nearby legend Trekking Expeditor (300m away) and the staff was very proactive and helpful to help me figure out my next travel steps. Breakfast was served on the top floor with nice views and some fun nearby monkey entertainment. I really enjoyed my stay!

The best feature for me about this hotel was paying with a banking card, as 99% of Sri Lanka are still using cash only. The room was quite clean and well furnished except for a small cockroach and ants in the bathroom. I guess that’s the way it is around the whole island. However, the staff were really friendly and helpful as well. Keep it up!

The bathroom too tiny. To get to the toilet you need to make acrobatic movements😀😀 the host (who was really very nice person) informed me that hotel closes at 10 pm and I need to be home before😀😀. I returned by 12 but I still managed to enter hotel. Then he came to the room and checked that I returned alone (because he saw that I was going out not alone) I got really surprised because booking cut me for 2 persons stay. So I took his attention as a fatherhood care and didn’t get upset😀😀

The host is very kind and attentive. The room with balcony and view is marvelous. The room had both fan and AC. Mattress is very comfortable to sleep. Location is quite central but mind it’s on the hill as many other hotels. That’s why it has perfect view😀

Old, but stylish hotel. I can imagine it after small renovations, which they are already doing and be elegant tropical interior. The owner is really nice, making tasty breakfast on the roof terrace with beaufitul view. The room was clean and nivr6, with niche for the single bed for kid.
