The stairs up to the apartment are steep.

We loved the tea and biscuits on arrival. We were grateful for the help with the cases. The rooms were clean and spacious. The view was amazing. The breakfast was local, fresh and plentiful. The beds were comfortable.

Nothing really. There were a lot of steep steps, which could be an issue.

Rooms were basic but had everything that we needed and the staff were very helpful and friendly. 20 min walk down into Ella and a short tuktuk ride back up. The breakfast was delicious and the view fabulous.

Great stay just outside of Ella. The views are amazing and it feels like you are in the trees! The owners were very responsive before we arrived and lovely when we were there. The breakfast was amazing! A must place to stay if visiting Ella

Because of heavy rain we were without hot water for a little bit but our hosts fixed it very quickly, so this is not really a negative.

Great accommodation with a stunning view. Walking distance to Ella center but far enough so that you don’t hear the noise of the city. Hosts are lovely and helpful if you have questions on how to get around etc. Delicious breakfast!

Property is at the top of a number of sets of steep concrete steps. We had two heavy suitcases and probably wouldn’t have stayed there had we known about the access, especially having arrived at night. However, if you are ok with this, the place is a lovely stay.

Comfortable and spacious room with the most amazing view from your balcony. Breakfast was served at your room and the staff are wonderfully attentive and kind.

If you have any mobility issues there are steep stairs to enter that would be difficult to manage. It wasn’t an issue for us but you should be aware when booking.

From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed and comfortable. The room was large, clean, with the softest duvet that kept us nice and warm as it’s been colder than usual. The family is wonderful and helped us arrange whatever we needed. The highlight was delicious breakfast on the balcony every morning overlooking the mountains. It’s about 20 min walk from town but I thought the location was great as we were away from the busy downtown area.

The road below can be a bit loud in the morning but won't matter at all if you're a relatively early riser. It would be the same anywhere else so not the fault of the property

The room was spacious with 2 double beds. It was nice having duvets. The breakfast was tasty and a huge portion! The view from the balcony is so worth it even though it's a bit out of town and up some stairs. The staff were very nice and helpful. WiFi was really good compared to everywhere else we've stayed. We were able to stream netflix in the evening without any problems. It was easy to get tuk tuks to wherever we wanted to go just by walking out of the hotel.

The shower pressure was weak. But I believe there is nothing to be done about it since the water comes from black barrels on top. It's the same everywhere in Ella. Wifi worked but it's not strong enough if you need to work or something.

Amazing family. Very kind and caring people. Comfortable bed, great balcony where monkeys come for your breakfast which is very entertaining and they are not dangerous at all. Beautiful view. It's up the hill and you have to climb stairs which are not very lit in the night but it's not the accommodation problem, it's everywhere in Ella. Again, the family alone is just worth this booking. Great people, always ready to help. Sheets were clean and they provided a mosquito net.

Wonderful, quiet accommodation for those who want to visit Ella while avoiding the overtourismus and exorbitant prices in the centre. Large enough and comfortable room with a large bathroom and an amazing terrace overlooking the valley and Llittle Adams Peak. There is a very good restaurant, Café de Serenite, a few metres away, where you get an extra 10% discount. The best thing though are the owners, incredibly helpful and friendly, ready to help you at any time. Best accommodation we had in Sri Lanka.

We stayed three nights in Pramitha's family room. The hoste was very respectful and friendly. We received a delicious breakfast every morning. The location is a bit higher in the mountains than other accommodations but definitely doable on foot (you can take shortcuts through steps), you are in the city center in 20min. Highly recommended!

The view from the balcony! It is beautifully green and since you are at the level of the tree tops, there is a lot to see. We saw many different animals, including many different types of bird, a giant squirrel and a hornbill. Two of the three mornings, there were also monkeys that came looking for something to eat, but were chased away by the owners so that we could eat in peace. The location is great for anyone, who wants to enjoy the beautiful scenery and nature, without the hustle and noises of Ella town. The breakfast was amazing and a lot! The owners were very friendly and welcoming. The bed was comfortabel and there was a water cooker in the room. Definitely recommend!

The house was in the middle of the jungle on top of a hill so away from the busy village and very quiet. The view from the balcony was beautiful. The family owning the house was really nice and we had the best breakfast ever. The room is also clean and comfortable. I can definitely recommend this place!!

The hosting family is super friendly, the rooms were spacios, comfortable and very clean. The view from the terrace and the breakfast were both amazing. We saw all kinds of animals from the balcony. It is a 15min walk from the the train station, but to be in the quiet and away from the city was well worth it! Would totally recommend!

Very clean and spacious room, with a large bathroom that was also very clean. Comfortable bed, wonderful balcony with a fantastic view and great place to enjoy mornings and evenings. The breakfast was more than enough, always very tasty. The hosts are extremely welcoming and very nice people, we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you for having such a great stay!
