In 9ne word: fantastic!! Danu and his wife and mother really looked after us and made our stay unforgettable. We received welcome drinks, ate hearty breakfasts and were brought and collected everywhere. The view from the balcony is amazing. It's a good idea to stay in a place that is a bit removed from the hustle and bustle in downtown Ella. Top marks!

The view from the room was extraordinary. The host (Danushka) is friendly and took very good of our needs. The breakfast was very filling and super yummy. They always asked us the night before when we wanted our breakfast the next day and, to our surprise, it was delivered to our room exactly on time. Danushka gave us tips on navigation in that area and recommendations on places to visit and eat. He even helped us by keeping some of our stuff in their refrigerator for a night. He has his own tuk-tuk and dropped us to the train station on the final day. WiFi worked well for us. Overall it was value for money. Thank you for making our stay at Ella so memorable. ❤️

One of our best stays in Sri Lanka! We stayed for two nights and absolutely loved it. The owners are super friendly and helpful. They served tea and little treats in between, and the breakfast was one of the best we had on our trip. Everything was very clean, and the view was breathtaking. Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic time at Rock Paradise and the view from the balcony was amazing! Danu and his family were kind and helpful, they were able to provide a scooter rental at a good price, lifts to the station and information on the area. The breakfast was tasty and the pots of tea after a long day exploring were always a treat! We would definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for a place to stay in Ella that avoids the crowds but still delivers on location.

We loved it, it was a lovely homestay and basic amenities if that’s what you are looking for.

Amazing area, we liked being out of the backpacker town. Had more local places near us. Only a short walk down and a quick tuk tuk back up. Amazing host by Danu and his mum, we felt very looked after. Room is basic as you’d expect for price but with a fan, mosquito net, hot water and an amazing view, it’s everything we were expecting and more.

Everything! Best stay we had in Sri Lanka. The room was very clean and large. We had a balcony with an amazing view to Ella Rock and Little Adam's peak. Danu was a wonderful host. He received us with fresh juice and gave us another one the next day. He made sure we had tuk tuk to go to the city center and to Little Adam's peak. He made sure our stay was great. The room was perfect, power outlets everywhere, comfortable bed and pillows. 10/10

Amazing breakfast. I will say that view and the breakfast are just enough reasons to book the accommodation. Owner very polite and full of informations and recommendations. He send a list of places such he is recommending to visit and we visited some and we wer not disappointed at all.

Rock paradise is one of the best home stay experiences we had in Sri Lanka. Fantastic view from balcony with very hospitable hosts. Danu and his mom went above and beyond with their hospitality. The breakfast was amazing!

Spacious room a super comfortable bed. Hot shower, the balcony, the view! Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The owner was friendly and organized a driver for our next location.

The only reason I didn’t rate 10/10 is that the bathroom could use a bit of attention for odour.

The view from this place is spectacular, you can watch the sun rise between Little Adam’s Peak and Ella Rock. The host couldn’t be any nicer, always offering fresh juice or tea and helping with anything you need.

It is a lovely accommodation for a few days in Ella with a breathtaking view over Ella and the surrounding mountains! Our host Danu was super nice, accommodating and helpful. He even drove us to waterfalls with his TukTuk and did a little tour with us. With all questions he helped us, also picked out the right bus for our onward journey and prepared a super delicious Sri Lankan breakfast, which we could eat on our balcony. The room has everything you need, a mosquito net and also hot water.

Super friendly host. He came to pick us up from town and even drove us around for a whole day for a very nice price. His mother made the best sri lankan breakfast we had. Property is in the hills so walk down to the town is easy about 15min.. on the way back you get 500lkr tuk tuk to take you back so not a problem at all. We were very happy with our stay!
