To sit in the pool all day or up on the balcony with a beverage or having a bite to eat while watching these magnificent creatures bathing just there was unreal. An unforgettable stay and well worth every penny! A MUST DO if you travel to Sri Lanka. It’s across the road from the orphanage but we just stayed at the hotel instead cos it was the perfect place for us to be. The one time we did leave was to go stand on the end of the road where the elephants do their daily walk down. Who knew a herd of elephants could arrive so quietly ? Not me!
