    “This is a fantastic place to stay on Nilaveli beach. The pool and gardens are immaculately kept, but it is the proximity to the beach that is the real standout. White sand and turquoise waters with lovely sun loungers make this a beautifulplace to relax. The food in the restaurant is good - fruit, juice and tea/coffee and then either a Sri Lankan option or pancakes or omelette for breakfast - and you can eat dinner right on the beach listening to the ocean waves. All of the staff are lovely and really helpful. Highly recommend”

    “The rooms at Avila are good size and very clean. The linen is of high quality, and the lighting is good too. We loved the quiet neighbourhood, its also a 2 min walk to the Nilaveli beach. The breakfast, although limited, was good.”
