“Lovely family. Private room with two beds, mosquito net, cozy balcony and private bathroom. I got what I wanted for the breakfast (easy to communicate with lady host) Family can arrange tuk-tuk service. I think, considering the price and aporoach, it is a solid 9,5 from me rounded up to 10 🙏🏻 Thank you and all the best 🌸”
“One of the best place on Sri Lanka where we were. Hosts are really friendly and helpful. Sir show us nice Road to walk near princess of dickoya. They arrange Tuk tuk from Hatton. There was tasty meals and breakfast. And they arrangage tuk tuk full day trip which was awesome. Honestly it was one of the best place on Sri Lanka. For sure we come back ☀️”
“Lovely and very helpful family, collected us in a tuk tuk from the train station free of charge. Hired us a scooter for the day at a good cost. Very nice and big breakfast. Organised a cheap tuk tuk to take us back to the station.
The location is an easy downhill walk into town (although google maps was inaccurate at times). The walk back up the hill wasn't too hard but bring a torch if it's after dark.”
“Probably the best value for money we found in Sri Lanka. The staff were super friendly and the manager went out of his way to welcome us and help us with our daily trips. We stayed with a toddler and the king suite on the ground floor was a great choice - plenty of green grass to run around barefoot. Good breakfast, excellent rice and curry! Look for the fireflies in the evening!”
“Great and authentic location with stunning views across the tea plantation and reservoir.
Service was exceptional and felt very personalised. Special mention to Savindhu, Upul and Manoj.
Food very good, everything was fresh and tasty.”
“We enjoyed our stay in Tea Hills Lake. Lovely comfortable rooms and beautiful views. Staff so warm and welcoming, so hardworking with one member in particular, felt like he was never off duty. He even got up at 3am to help 2 of our party set off to climb Adams Peak armed with flash lights and packed lunches. Up early overseeing breakfast and checkouts showing a passion for his trade that was admirable. Lovely welcome flowers and present a nice touch.”
