A very nice place in the center of the city close to the morning market and also the night food market too. The people are very nice and helpful. The place itself is cosy, with a nice terrace to have a drink or breakfast in the shadow and trees, with fridge, cold and hot water for free... We recommend.

Beware that (the simple but tasty) breakfast takes a while, half an hour in my case, so order on time if you have to catch a bus or tour:)

Excellent value for money, prime location and sweet folks running the place. Not the most luxurious place but it has everything you need. Small terrace with a pretty social vibe too.

This is an older building and we're in the tropics, so absolute cleanliness is illusive, but it was pretty clean. The shower was somewhat warm, but not at all hot. Not bad when the weather's hot, but maybe not everyone's preference. I found it refreshing.

Good breakfast, great location -- both the morning market and the night market were just down the alleyway and the Mekong, half a block away. Staff was helpful and always pleasant.

I don't think that 18 dollars for one person room is an adequate price, it's too much. The shared bathroom could be a bit cleaner for that price.

Everything was good. The hotel is in a very nice building, the breakfast was very tasty (there are three options to choose), the room is nice and tidy, the bed is spacious

The room was a little small for the price - however in a city as touristy as Luang Prabang this shouldn't be a big surprise

Great location in the heart of Luang Prabang, staff were very helpful and friendly.

I book a room with a fan and Luang Prabang gets hot during the day. They should invest in a ceiling fan rather than a fixed wall fan or provide one more floor fan. The room gets comfortable only after sunset. Day time it's like a sauna.

The location of the guesthouse is very good. Walking distance to the night market and the river front. the rooms are cosy with hard wood floor.

Shower drain was full of old hairs which didn't allow the water to drain very easily.

Room was nice and quiet. Close to markets while also being down a nice quiet street. The staff were all very friendly as well!

This problem has been fixed, but we booked a room with breakfast included, as noted on every step with booking.com. At the time I booked, the only option was breakfast included. I showed all of the booking screens to Peter, the owner, who said that the price we paid was the non-breakfast price and he couldn't honor the breakfast included. Clearly, the problem was between Peter & booking.com, and has been rectified, but with the evidence I showed him, I would have expected him to honor the booking conditions (as well as have it corrected). Had his demeanor been more cordial, our stay would have felt different.

The food prepared by the owner/chef Peter was tasty and inventive as noted in many reviews. The location of the hotel is quiet, but with a fascinating morning market a half block away. The common eating area is pleasant and shaded, and the shared bathroom was kept clean.

It’s an old house, I.e. not the best sound isolation - light sleepers should bring earplugs for a good sleep. Mattresses were really hard for my taste.

Cosy little guesthouse in central location in Luang Prabang, right between the river and the night market. Amazing staff, very helpful and familial atmosphere. Cute courtyard restaurant with good food. Appreciated the in-house laundry.

This is a reconditioned 1960s house. It has an enormous amount of character, especially with the three bedrooms upstairs. If you like wooden floorboards, timber shatters, and a friendly family vibe, this place is for you!

My first impression of the room wasa bit "rustic"... but it grew on me. ... I will certainly be back.

The staff were fabulous... I am travelling with an injury and they were really helpful. Son was charming and had lots of contacts. Food by Peter...fabulously. Very close to the morning market for great breakfast and adventure. Rooms are simple but spotless.

Wifi was patchy but not a big deal, since one is on holiday!

Excellent quality of food, with Peter offering off-menu specials for dinner when we ate in. Having dinner with the family was just the perfect note. Breakfast was excellent, a great start to the day of exploring. The morning markets are just 25 metres outside the gate, and a wonderful way to know the place and meet the locals haggling over daily needs like a bowl of riverweed or a jar of spices. equally, that means the night market is just minutes away to take in the vibes, people-watch and enjoy chatting with locals over their crafts.
