Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

PolandWe had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made us feel comfortable from the start . The hotel offers very good breakfasts. Our room was very comfortable, spacious, and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The pool was definitely a highlight. Overall, we had a great time and would be happy to return.

ItalyWe really don’t have any negative feedback. The only thing that would have made this hotel absolutely perfect were on site laundry, and a small weight room area. Those are minor amenities though and really didn’t take anything away from our stay.
We absolutely loved this property for our family of 7! The facilities, room size, and location can’t be beat, and is made exceptional by the lovely staff. We loved being able to easily walk down to the beach, and the variety at breakfast was great every morning. The little extras like the tubes to borrow from the lobby, the outdoor bath, and the foot bath area were the icing on the cake. We truly have nothing negative to say, just memories of a wonderful family vacation!

If you are looking for a peaceful, quiet and a dream-like holiday resort to rejuvenate mind and body after each long day, this is the place to be. Beach is walkable with clear directions and it will bring you to the Olle Walk trails. No shortage of restaurants nearby and I would say to same for rest of my itineraries. Very friendly hotel staff and all my correspondence with hotel very prompt, they even replied to queries on another hotel. This if first class service. Loved the breakfast, huge beautiful rooms with views of the beach, mountain.

United StatesOne of our party would have liked to use the hot tub but we were told the pool area was closed.
Gorgeous view, comfortable room, best staff out of any Jeju hotel we’ve used (close to a dozen over three trips) Foot spa was relaxing and the hotel as a whole was very quiet.

United StatesAll is great. We love the breakfast especially the fruit, yogurt and variety of food! Only suggestion would be to offer some Black Tea such as English Breakfast or just a straight up Black Tea alternative for those folks that don't drink coffee.
We've been staying at Y Resort for several years. I think we've stayed at Y Resort at least six times and we never grow tired of this hotel. Location is FABULOUS. Rooms are outstanding and comfortable. The Breakfast is wonderful. Staff very attentive and caring. We love Y Resort and we will continue to stay here for the long term!

United KingdomThere’s not much not to like to be honest. Pool wasn’t available due to low season, but I have doubts we’d have the time to use it anyway - we travelled all around Jeju during our whole stay.
Very quiet location but not very far from town centre and shops. Heated floors (which I believe is probably a standard thing in South Korea) were nice! Very spacious suite, great for a family of 4+ with two teenagers. Parking is available at the property.

SingaporeFree breakfast is average, its only bread, spread, eggs, juice, cereals, soup, salad, beef porridge. 90% of itesm are repeated everyday, just 1 or 2 dishes like the soup and porridge get changed. Lot of scope to improve. the beds are ok, not very comfortable. Smart tv is there, but they dont give smart tv remote as were just mirroring our content on the screen. I dont know why they are not giving smart tv remote, when they have a smart tv in the apartment. I expected housekeeping everyday but the hotel staff said housekeeping is only once in 3 days. No washing machine or dryer in the property. Im surprised why they did not provided it. the hotel dont offer laundry services and you need to go the near by laundromat to wash clothes. the property is understaffed, sometime we had to go the front desk to collect water ourselves. Most restaurants around this property dont operation after 8 pm so, if you going to order food, just order before 7 pm.
The size of the property is good and its has a good view of the sea and the mountain. Parking is free and the staffs are helpful. Everyday the staff helped me to order food from near by restaurants. They also helped me book car rental.

AustraliaAlthough there was always a basic nice breakfast with cabbage salad, cocktail Frankfurts , boiled eggs , toast and spreads, a soup , abalone porridge I think it could have been better l. One day the main dish was chicken nuggets!!! and they were overcooked l. Although , the staff were as helpful as they could be, some did not understand English well. I think it would be good staff were knowledgeable about highlights in the area and how to get to them by public transport. We stumbled upon the Tourist Bus Shuttle -west route number 82O and another one in the east number 810 but staff had no knowledge of this. Also I asked a staff member about a map of Jeju in English and was told we don’t have one but then on our last day discovered they did. We think this goes back to staff having a good working knowledge and understanding of English . However, staff were all helpful and nice. I think if you were Korean and had a car the hotel would be excellent. It was about 10 -20 minutes walk to the shops to get food which was ok for us who are walkers but it may not suit less active people or if there is heavy rain .
Lovely view from our room; beautiful spa bath in our room; the staff were all as helpful as they could be and smiling. Lovely walking path close to our hotel

RomaniaIt should be mentioned that the swimming pool is only 120 cm deep at its best. Maybe that the hidden gem beach is not easily accessible and that is another one that is fully arranged for tourists only 10-12 min away from the hotel.
Amazing views and decent breakfast (it could be better indeed but you don't starve) The reception staff was very kind and helpful all the time. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to relax.
