Room was a little small and dark and didn’t get much restful sleep as it was quite noisy outside and there seemed to be a periodic buzzing maybe the water pipes which kept us awake

There was some loose wiring in the hallway and the bed fine but wasn’t the most comfortable. The bathroom is a wet room which is fine, but when I used the normal tap rather than the shower, water ran out the back of the sink and there was black bits in it.

My booking was accepted at very last minute and communication was good. The location was very close to the station which was super convenient.

The appartement is not part of the advertised location and is a separate annex in a different street. This made check in confusing and lacked the ability to interface with staff or what to do with your bags when checking out in the morning but no option to leave then at a front desk. Basically it is no different to a Airbnb apartment

I saw no staff members during a six day visit. This is a do-it-yourself hostel. The bathroom was just good enough but towels were the size of large handkerchieves.

The only cons that i"ve encounter is unrelated to the hostel. September is super hot and the location up the hill is challenging.

The price is affordable. The host even help us to put our luggage inside the room. The host even let the air cond on when we check in late afternoon on the first day.

The windows were blocked with some bubble wrap, and we didn't dare to open them as it also looked like they were very dirty. The bathroom had no shower box/curtains, and it was also lacking ventilation, so between the humidity from the showers and the closed windows, the air got really stuffed.

The location was perfect! Close to major stations and buses, beautiful parks, food markets and lots of shops and restaurants. It was also very fair for the price. The bed and duvet were really comfortable, and the room provided also towels, toothbrush and some basic toiletries.

Although the property lists luggage storage, be aware that there is no safe place to leave your luggage, only a small unmanned corridor that can be accessed by anyone as there is no lock to the building. The facilities are a little run down and the tv did not work in our room. Also, the bathroom only has a semi-transparent door with large gaps down the sides. It’s worth noting that you have to pay to have your room cleaned. The walls are very thin so you can hear people in other rooms very clearly. We chose this accommodation partly because it advertised that it had a washing machine and one is pictured in the photos. However, there was no washing machine anywhere in the building and we had to walk 10 minutes to the closest laundromat. In addition, we could not find a ‘shared living space’ anywhere, there is only an empty mysterious bar attached downstairs which we weren’t sure whether was part of the hostel or not. Although we stayed here for a whole week, we did not have any contact with any staff the whole time. Overall, if you don’t mind the above things, I would recommend staying here as it is very cheap, you get what you pay for.

The property was good value for money and well situated only a 7 minute walk to Myeongdong station. The facilities were clean.

It's uphill. Not good for those who are not into walking. The toilet has no exhaust so it's always wet. No bidet. No elevator. But not an issue for me at all. Still had a wonderful stay!

Close to subway exits (exit 3) and bus stops (namsan tunnel 3 and myeongdong station). Convenience store nearby. Walking distance to Myeongdong shopping district and street food. Love the neighborhood. It's kdrama feels. Lol

Close to the tourist attraction in Myengdong but the place is still quite. Value for money.

No closet, no table, not enough drying cloths, bathroom only sufficient.

Perfect location, relatively cheap for the area, it's very close to the subway and also many touristic locations by foot. It is a 30 min walk to Seoul station, eve.
