The room was spacious and incredibly clean. The fact that is came with a washing machine is clearly a bonus for longer stays. The hotel is also incredibly close to Camp Humphreys so for those visiting friends/family this is definitely a huge advantage!

Good amenities, cozy room, my spouse loves it and she was happy. Love that they supplied robes. As an American that doesn’t travel too much outside the US, I admit I wasn’t used to this style of hotel but it grew on me.

While the exterior of the building looked great and was well maintained, the surrounding buildings and the parking lot made me a little nervous at first sight. The view from the hotel room wasn't the best. Some of the surrounding buildings were looking a little rougher than I expected and the parking can be a little tight, however...this place will be on my list to stay the next time I am in town.

Room, bathroom, shower, cleanliness, internet was very good, TV was very good, Staff was very friendly and helpful, room security was excellent, kitchenette...it was all part of a great experience, friendly neighborhood, local stores and restaurants were close by and easy to walk to.

Location was awkward- down a back alley. But it is very close to Camp Humphreys gate, which was my main goal.

Large clean room. Helpful front desk staff. Room included bathroom, fridge with water, soda and coffee/tea. Comfy bed.

Hotel Joy is a sweet hidden gem. The owners are the most generous and friendliest people. The hotel was quiet and I felt safe while staying there. Whenever I come back to this area, I will stay here again. I am going to miss those heated floors! It’s roughly a 5 minute walk to Camp Humphrey’s and there are tons of food options near by along with multiple bus stations.

The building itself is an old building, so there are definitely limitations to how the place feels. From the wall paper to the tiling, everything is a bit dated.

Extremely clean rooms and well maintained space. The staff are absolutely phenomenal and friendly. The location is unbeatable as it is just a 5-10 min walk from the walk-in gate of Humphreys. There are plenty of convenience stores arond and parking is available as well right downstairs.

The staff was super friendly and explained the general rules, wifi, room key, parking in great detail and the lobby is open from reasonably early until very late in the evening. I saw some other review about hard beds, but I loved the firm bed a lot!

Booking.com hotel description/pictures gives the impression that washing machines are in all rooms. They should probably mention that they are in the suites. Just a minor correction to the description would solve this.

Location is just a 5 minute walk to the pedestrian gate at Camp Humphreys. Price, for what you get is excellent. Staff was great and were very helpful. I would definitely recommend and would stay there again!

Parking was tight, but nothing can done about it due to location.

One of the best hotels in the area, other co-workers that stayed in surrounding hotels did not have as good of an experience. The couple that runs it are super nice. In a great location for food and shopping.

I liked how friendly the staff/owners were. I was able to extend my stay as I ran into issues during PCS, which was great. I liked having the dirt lot to park in. I liked having a microwave, fridge, hot water heater, and sink. It was exactly what I needed to PCS comfortably.

Computer accomodations. There is a computer and computer screen in the rooms but they are not user freindly so I did not use them and take up a lot of desk/work space during business trips.

Hotel accomodation are always clean and in new working order unlike many hotels. Clean bedding, seating and furniture. Other hotels have old and worn out and/or stained and soiled furniture, dirty or stained bed coverings. Complimentary beverages were an excellent perk, certainly a customer keeper factor.

Everything was perfect, but the staff was the best, my day started and ended with a smile and greetings every time I left and entered the hotel, they made me feel at home.
