If you are not using your own transportation and want to stay in this hotel, you are stuck in an island-like place. The Gyeongju KTX station is 30 minutes away to the hotel by taxi, and the downtown area is 20 minutes away from the hotel. You must use taxi as there is no public transportation to or from here. There is no convenient store or any other usual shopping place nearby. Our bathroom thresholds were solid stone things with very sharp edges protruding above their surrounding floors, and we had to cover them with towels. These are the points that made us regret our decision to stay there even a few days after leaving the hotel.

Besides the buffet, there is no place to drink coffee in the morning until 10 am. It will be good to open the book & cafe at 8 am

Nice view of lake. Efficient restaurant with decent food and prices. Easy access to taxis (via Uber within 1 minute) to go to Gyeongju historic sites.

The buffet on Sunday was mediocre and no value for money. The airconditioning in de room was too cold during the day and too warm at night. The laundry service is too expensive.

You have to pay for everything. And when I say everything I mean it. Plan to double your initial bill if you stay for a couple of nights.

A good spot if you want to unwind for a couple of days. It’s got everything you need: a great buffet restaurant (top notch quality), a pool (although very expensive and on top of your room’s price), a spa (same as the pool, even the sauna, everything is charged extra).

The hotel’s location is quite far from the many sights in Gyeongju. If you do not have a car you will need to order a taxi since buses only go every hour (at least when I was there).

Lots of cleaning carts were in the hallway, and a janitor (?) was mopping around 10 am - earlier than checkout time.

Breakfast was a bit expensive but the selection was great. Needed a taxi to get in and out of the city.

The room was lovely and spacious. The bathroom and shower were great. Bed was very comfortable. The hotel had so many things to keep you busy, location next to the lake was amazing.

It was very noisy during the day and at night, so it was not the best place to relax. The hotel was full of families, long queues for breakfasts. The accomodation didn’t include access to spa, this had to be paid extra and the price of the room was already expensive. Location was far from main town and there were limited options for restaurants. Access to buses was also limited during our stay and a taxi to train station costed around $40.

The hotel is nice and very big and the beds were comfortable.

Room is very basic for 5 star hotel Two odd chairs, no chairs on balcony, spartan beds, no closet, paper cups in bathroom, no minibar Expensive and unattractive dining (self service foot court or overpriced buffet)

Two issues : there is no Air-conditioners in the room, even though it claims it does, this when it’s warm is a deal breaker. I didn’t like the breakfast
