Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaCost of the buffet. We had a very similar buffet in Seoul for half the cost . Costly restaurant.

United StatesThe fact that there was a major conference going on across the street and all their restaurants were closed for renovations. Also, the size of the portions of the alcohol drinks in the bar were ridiculously meager.
The location was ideal in that the conference center was across the street. The staff was very helpful and accomodating.

United StatesAccess to outdoor swimming pool was too expensive for guests, ATM at the hotel not equipped to handle foreign travelers, poor command of English language by most of staff. It is a hotel oriented to cater for families, so there were too many children, and it was quite noisy specially the breakfast area.
Comfortable and clean room and bed, light in the room and in the whole hotel, breakfast was just ok, a very good concierge service to arrange for the service of a touristic guide and taxis to move around.

PortugalBe sure you have the swimming-pool access for free in your reservation otherwise they will charge you a lot!!! More than 30$ per person, more than the price of the big Amusement Park nearby!!! And it is a swimming-pool for children to play. Only that!!! Don’t expect to relax there

United StatesI had salad for breakfast but they did not have ranch, Italian, or caesar dressing so I couldn’t eat my salad. Also, they discriminate when serving beverages. They told us the drinks were self-serving, yet the waitresses served the white foreigners. They ignored Asian-Americans like me and my family members.
Nice view. Convenient location that’s close to all the touring areas.

SingaporeRoom interior was on the aged side. Most of the hotel facilities were under renovation so there was nothing to do onsite if you were planning to just stay on the property. Air conditioning was unavailable as well due to the renovations. (as of mid March 2023)
Spacious, well equipped room, comfortable bed. Awesome views of the lake and amusement park. Hotel is near to some notable attractions and scenic walks. Breakfast spread was great. Staff were friendly and proactive, and tried their best to make my stay as comfortable as they could as the hotel had no air conditioning and facilities were closed for renovation. United StatesAs with several other luxury hotels in Gyeongju, it was located inconveniently far from town. Many of the recommended restaurants were a 20-minute cab ride away, and very few of the local restaurants were recommended (or recommendable). The cafe/bar in the hotel served terrible food at luxury hotel priced. The pizza came out cold, and the Caesar salad had bacon mixed in (not listed among the ingredients on the menu). Don't eat there! Plan on the 20-minute cab ride.
Most of all, we were very impressed with the concierge staff. One evening, I fell (not near the hotel) and came back bleeding. The staff were simply incredible, helping with cleaning and dressing my cuts and scrapes. They even remembered me and asked how I was and if I needed anything the next day. The location was also pleasant, right on a lake with a nice view from our room. We had a wonderful balcony, and the room was very nice.

United KingdomThe check-in experience was one of the worst I've seen. The ticketing system was confusing, it was crowded, they put us in a waiting room which did not have A/C despite the very hot weather, and there seemed to be only one desk open for a while despite the crowd and a lot of staff just hanging around visibly doing nothing. Also, use of the facilities came as extras, which makes you feel unwelcome. The drinks and food were also very expensive by Korean standards. Quality-wise, what we had was very average at best. The location was actually pretty far from the main attractions and streets of historical Gyeongju; this was mostly my fault for not checking thoroughly though. If you are planning to go there during a hot month, the walk along the river/lake to the historical centre is not really feasible, although taxis are plenty.
Decent. The place itself is fine and I actually liked the view onto the amusement park, with the trees and riverside. For its (relatively low) price, it was very decent, but I'd struggle to find something I really liked about it.

AustraliaHad a great stay but it was spoiled by the very last interaction I had with the two member of staff at concierge. I checked out and asked for a bottle of water, because I just checked out they said no more water allowed. Customer service never stops, this is a disappointing way to end a good stay and left a bad taste in my mouth as I left.

United KingdomBig pool, both indoors and indoors, but we had to pay £20 each to enter. The sauna was extra again. You need to check your reservation carefully to see if it's included. The hotel is tired, and if you want to go in to town its 20 mins in a taxi.
The hotel is a resort, with a lot of kids. Bars & restaurants around the lake are good to visit at night.

South Korea(1) Toothbrushes and toothpaste were not provided in the room, only for a special charge. You have to bring your own! (2) The hotel is far from the city center and sightseeing places. You need to take a bus/taxi to get there (on average ~20 min, if no traffic ~10 min). (3) Not many places to eat, so its better to go to travel to the city center, which has many cafes and restaurants.
The view from the room was spectacular. Overall the room was very comfortable and spacious. The staff was very kind. Very nice coffee shop/bakery ADEN near the hotel. The hotel has near an amusement park and pool club. I think it is more suitable for families with kids.

TaiwanThe facilities and the room are quite old. The arm of the sofa is too hard, guests could get injured. The shower glass door of room 515 doesn’t close completely. The closet is tiny and right by the entryway. There are too many paper documents containing hotel information left on surfaces in the room. When connected to HDMI input source, the television glitches.
The location is quite convenient as it’s right next to a tourist area. A friendly front desk staff said she upgraded our room despite it was a weekend and the hotel seems packed.
