pillow a little bit wierd , bathroom with no blind on the window, bedsheet i think made me itchy so i bought one from daiso to solve the problem

great location . Extremely convient for whether to take the buses or subway . The room was very clean , mattress was comfortable , enviroment very nice ,quiet . Stuff were friendly. 100% would like to stay again

I booked this place last minute. In the centre of Hongdae for cheap price. So did not have much hopes but i was pleasantly surprised! The location is excellent, the place is clean and comfortable. Nice mattress. personal fridge, air con, bathroom. There is a huge shared fully equipped kitchen and a rooftop. Self checkin. The staff is helpful. You can do laundry. Borrow adapters and umbrellas for free. It has good transport connections, convenient stores and cafes/food spots in 1-2 min walk. I definitely recommend

i do not have a lot of criticism, just maybe some advice if you're considering going here: - for two people we only got one keycard, so that might be worth keeping in mind depending on your plans - i would recommend bringing your own bed linen, but that might also just be a preference thing

i am very happy with my stay at boa travel house and i could definitely imagine returning here. the location is great, it's very close to hongik univ station and you can easily access hongdae main street by foot, but it is also not too busy or loud. the kitchen facilities were always clean and everything worked fine, also inside our room. check in and check out were very easy and mostly independent. there's also a scale so you can weigh your luggage before you leave.

These are pretty small things in the bigger picture but the room smelled a bit funky in the beginning, the natural light is low due to the location of the windows. Also, one of the beds is quite hard (as it's common in Korea) which some people might find uncomfortable.

Great value, location, spacious, clean and overall a pleasant stay! Loads of good food and things to do around. Would surely check again if I were to stay in Hongdae.

Very hard mattress, sleeping was uncomfortable. Bathroom gets smelly easily due to not being able to flush toilet paper.

It’s very near the subway and bus + it’s near hongdae and sinchon wherein you can access a lot of food and shopping. VALUE FOR MONEY INDEED 🩷

I reserved a room for two because my previous stay in a single room was too small. But even the room for two which was more expensive wasn’t that big either. Regardless, good location and value

Room including toilet were super clean with complete amenities as per description. Well functioning heated floor and aircond. Beds were comfy. The triple room was comfortably spacious for 3 adults. Pantry was complete with coway and microwave, even provided full set of cutlery, plates & cups for Muslims. Smooth self checkin & checkout. It has very strategic location near Hongik University Station, and most importantly no steep stairs to reach the house 😅 Excellent security as u can only come in with a card. Overall, i am really satisfied and would definitely come again.

Unfortunately the drains/pipes in the bathroom were very bad, so when i used the sink it took a very long time to have the water go down.

I loved the Travel House, it has a nice little kitchen, the rooftop and enough space in the rooms.

No parking space, but the staff is helpful. He let us park for a short while to unload luggage.

Staff is very polite and friendly. Easy self check in, instructions was clear in email. Self laundry mart at ground floor. There is late night<close 2am> eatery less than 5min walking from BoA. Well equip and clean common kitchen. Less than 15min walking distance from busy area with restaurants, shopping.

This was my second time staying at BoA and it was just as good as the first time. The rooms aren't big, but there's still enough room even with a big suitcase. The location is about a 5 to 7 minute walk from the subway line two and 5 minutes to the airport line. There aren't many staff around, so you will need to be confident with getting by on your own. There are plenty of restaurants around as well as convenience stores if you need something quickly. Since there is a laundromat on the first floor, It would be perfect if the property offered a one-time free washing service, especially for guests who are staying a bit longer.

Despite not providing towels or toiletries, there is a vending machine right at the entrance where you can acquire these products. Soundproofing isn't ideal, but we only had issues one night, and the guests shut up pretty quickly. We would have liked to have extra pillows, as the ones provided are a bit on the lower side. I understand having an unmanned, and that it reduces costs, but it would be nice to have someone who could provide more info if necessary, but they do have an emergency phone number for any issues that may arise.

Price-quality ratio is great, especially for Hongdae. The property is located in a great area, a mere 5-minute walk away from Hongik University subway station and a 2-minute walk from bus stops, basically connecting you to the entire metropolitan area of Seoul (I recommend using the Climate Card for transportation). You can also walk for 15 minutes to the main area of Hongdae, which is always filled with people and food stands and the like. The property is also very close to coffee shops, markets, convenience stores, breakfast places, and many other services. The place is always clean, even though you're the one who has to take out the trash and recycle, and you can't flush toilet paper. The wet bathroom might not be everyone's cup of tea, but it's quite manageable. The mattress is a bit on the harder side, but we got used to it quickly. The heated floors are amazing for colder days. There is aircon which can be operated in the summer. There is a fridge of nice size and a desk and chair, as well as a clothing rack with hangers, and the beds have drawers underneath. The size of the room is much like others in the Seoul area, not big, but not too small. We did not make use of the kitchen, so we can't provide feedback on that. There is a rooftop area where you can sit and enjoy if the weather permits. The laundromat right next door could be very handy for longer stays.

I booked for double room for two of us but we got only 1 key.

Great location. Very close to Hongik Station and easy to find. Clean, comfortable and warm room (I stayed here during winter). Walking distance to mall, convenient stores, and Daiso where you can find almost everything. If you stay longer you can use laundry downstair with coin. They provide praying room in rooftop and separated utensils for halal and non halal in the kitchen.
