How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The noises along the night. Guests should have a time limit to come to room, turn off the light and sleep.
The guy the reception desk is helpful.

The rooms were a bit small but it was okay for the price. I did get a 50% discount so can't complain
I loved the cozy aesthetic of the place. It's unassuming on the outside - the building is a bit old - but inside it's nicely decorated. The receptionist was kind and friendly. She helped me out when I had an issue with the washing machine.

The room size was small but nothing terrible, it was clean, tidy and worked well for a solo traveller.
Location was very good, the staff were super helpful and nice to have the kitchen area. Easy to navigate and good amenities in the accommodation as well.

The bathroom was not very clean sadly. There was some mold on the roof, some strange glue residues on the walls, the floor was always a bit dirty and it was overall very humid and hot in there. The air could not really escape out.
Very good accommodation, very lively neighborhood very close to multiple subways. The beds were also great (very soft and cozy) and the airconditioning was nice.

The property seemed to need a deep cleaning and some renovations, as it felt somewhat neglected. The cooktop in the kitchen wasn’t working, so we couldn’t prepare our own meals. Our room had a small window facing a wall, so there was very little natural light. We were also unable to adjust the air conditioning—neither the fan speed nor the temperature could be changed—which made it difficult to control the room’s climate. Additionally, the room was very small, making the space feel quite cramped.
The location was quite decent, with plenty of cafes and food spots nearby, which made it convenient to explore the area. The check-in process went smoothly, and it was helpful to have toilets and showers available on every floor. I appreciated the secure access to the room, which could be opened using either a code or a key. The manager was kind and responsive, answering many of our questions during our stay. The place also provided useful amenities such as drinking water, hot water for tea, coffee, a microwave, plates, and some basic utensils.

The only minus I would give is that there was some problems with humidity in the hotel. In the bathroom there's some mold you can see and also the walls in the room had some water damage to them. Cleaning wasn't top notch either with some stains in the walls and hairs on the bed. Nothing super bad.
The location is superb! Only 10min walk to Myeongdong shopping street and also short walk to line 2 metro station where you can get to lot of places. Room was cozy but small, but that didn't bother me at all. The staff there were so nice and offered help woth lot of things. Check in with Rita was quick and easy and JJ gave lots of tips and offered coffee in the mornings.

I had a broken toilet on my floor, so I needed to go 2 floors down. The light in my bed was broken, hanging on wires.
Very nice lobby, all needed appliances for preparing some noodle breakfast. Rooms clean, everything fine, nothing broken. Doors to room closed by magnetic card lock, much appreciated.

Maybe some of the facilities were not that clean, and the shower situation was so so weird, idk about that… it’s manageable though. I would stay again but maybe only if other options at similar price were unavailable. It’s fine though.
Really good location, central and close to the station so could travel anywhere really quickly

Staff were friendly, the location is perfect, near MyeongDong. Very convieniently close to lots of subways. Room was adequate and wifi was fast. Good for value. There's a few flights of stairs you just have to carry your luggage up. Might need to ask for help if you are coming within office hours of the hostel.

7 minute walk from local trains. Great staff. Very good, clean facilities. I found the bed to be a tiny bit stiff but that is probably because I am used to being a pampered Westerner.
