Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ItalyThere are no many restaurants or shops close by, so you need to move to get some food. The location is not very central (15-20 minutes by walk to the centre of Siem Reap), but there is the possibility to take a tuk tuk to move to the centre.
The room was comfortable with a big bed, a table with chair and a small fridge. It had a private bathroom with toilet and shower, soap and toothbrush were provided, towels too. The room had air conditioning. The staff was kind and helpful. You can ask them if you need to organise tickets to visit Angkor Wat or to move to your next location in Cambodia or in Thailand.

HungaryWifi connection is poor. The room is a bit old-fashion and the bathrooms could use a renovation. The window was facing to a narrow corridor, so there was no natural light in the room.
The staff is extremely kind from the arrival, the breakfasts are big and has multiple options to choose from. The pool is a nice add-on after a day at Angkor.

United StatesHot water in the shower was a bit lacking at times. On the day we got up very early to see the sunrise at Angkor Wat, I had to add some cold water to get a nice hot shower. Other days, the shower taught me patience. I'd turn on only the hot water, and after a very long wait, I'd be rewarded with a Luke warm shower. The egg breakfasts were better than the noodle soup, which was just top ramen with veggies and very tough park added. The pancakes were what we call waffles, but they were very good.
Rithy, the hotel manager, took great care of our group. Anything from laundry service to arranging tuk tuks for a ride to Angkor Wat .

United KingdomPool area didn’t seem to get the sun, the bathroom in our first room smelt like drains and it got a bit noisy in the morning as it’s next to a school
We initially booked 3 nights however extended for an extra 3 nights as there is so much to do in Siem Reap. We were picked up for free from the bus stop when we arrived but no free drop off provided. Our first 4 nights were in a double room which was comfortable and clean. Mini fridge and kettle worked well. Daily cleaning provided if you leave the card on the door handle and bottled water provided. WiFi hit and miss. For our last two nights we were moved to a triple room which turned out to be just as nice, if not better! There was hot water in each of the bathrooms with great power and aircon worked well. Located approx 20mins walk from the busy area of town but this was no problem for us. We paid to have breakfast included which was a pretty simple menu but did the job!

ItalyThe management is confusing, not clear who is working for the guesthouse and who is giving external services. The tuk tuk driver for example, who theoretically also works for the guesthouse, was too pushing and insistent, making us feeling uncomfortable. In 3 days they never clean our room.
The swimming pool is very nice, they let us enjoy it also after the check out while waiting for our buses.

ItalyThe position is 10 min walking from the center. The breakfast was good and there was the possibility to do take away in case you have an early morning tour. If you want to organize a tour to the temple some guys there is also tuktuker and they make a fair price.

ThailandMy only real complaint was that the wifi was out for the entire last day I was there so I ended up having to buy a sim card. But the wifi in Cambodia in general seems to be unreliable, so it may not have been an issue specific to the hotel. Apart from that, everything was decent.
The pool was amazing after an exhausting day walking around the temples. The room was comfortable enough and it was relatively quiet. They helped me arrange 2 tours and helped me arrange transport to the bus station and from the airport. They were always very prompt with responding to any questions and there was good communication before and during my stay. I felt safe as a solo female traveler. The location is good also. It is only about a 20 min walk to Pub Street and the Old Market and much quicker if you took a tuk tuk I'm sure. I would probably stay there again.

Czech RepublicWeaker wifi and slightly shabby rooms. But the common areas are nice surrounded by palm trees.
The accommodation has a great location, a short walk from everything major in Siam Reap and still in a quiet area. It is within walking distance to the shopping center, cafes and restaurants. The swimming pool is great, which is convenient after visiting Angkor. The common facilities are also nice and we appreciate the nice staff. For breakfast there was a choice of about 15 food.

CambodiaThe showers are run off solar panels, so with it being a cold snap and not much sun, we could not have a hot or even warm shower.

PolandThe outflow of water from the shower was not good and there was some strange smell. There is a gap below the door to the room which allows light and potentially mosquitoes from the corridor.
Very nice B&B place with pool and good breakfast. We could leave our luggage on the last day and even take a shower before leaving for the night bus. Pick up from the airport was arranged and that tuk tuk driver was also our guide in Angkor Wat - highly recommend travelling with him - drives very safely!

FrancePoor service—no drinks upon arrival and none after 9 PM, despite the bar next door being open. Inquired about yearly rent but was told to speak to the manager, who was never told about it (baffled). This is a recurring issue in Cambodia; it’s crucial to hire staff who actually care. I mentioned that I almost booked there 18 months ago but chose another place. Now, looking for a long-term stay, I was told it "depends on money." That felt off. So, I mentioned I was already renting an 80 sqm place for $250—whether they had a better offer, we’ll never know. Cambodia is challenging, but I’ll ensure my company hires educated, willing, and friendly staff, paying them a fairer wage. You might have lost thousands of dollars this year simply because your staff doesn’t care about making money for the business owner.
