Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Czech RepublicIt is on a very noisy place especially during evening and night. Not for people who are seeking for a quiet and calm place. Earplugs wont help. Such a shame, because accomodation is very nice.
I stayed in bungalow, which was really cool, nice experience, free drinking water, but

United KingdomVery close to a couple beach bars where the music didn’t finish until around 2am and was very loud.
This property was a very short walk to the beach and restaurants. It was also in the shade which meant the bungalows didn’t heat up too much during the day. Everything was clean even toilets for the most part.

AustraliaWe found a snake in the bathroom (it slithered away soon after) and were a bit worried it could come into the bungalow as at the front does not entirely secure and things could definitely slither in. But this was a very minor concern so I wouldn’t be too worried if you are used to camping. Also the moon bar nearly blasts music (and terrible music I might add) until 3/4 am even on weeknights. Obviously this is completely out of control of the accommodation however something to note - definitely need ear plugs.
The location to the beach and nearby restaurants was great. The bungalow itself is very cute and perfect size. The bed is generous in size and the fan is really all you need heat wise. There’s a mosquito net which is good and also a cabinet to lock stuff away, and also a lock for the bungalow. It also rained each morning of our stay and we had no leaks so felt very safe. Lots of hooks to hang your stuff as well. It was a great and relaxing stay. The bathroom was right next door and we basically had it to ourselves the entire stay.

United KingdomIt was right on the beach shore front which was lovely to get out of bed and go to the beach. We also had easy access to walk to nestival which was really good about a 15min walk for us it was through some trees but lovely walk and far enough away to not hear the music. Great bars around it though to eat and drink at.

United KingdomBits that would have made our stay better: - We are not a party couple and so we thought we’d gone far enough away from Mad Monkey & Nest to not be disturbed in our sleep. Unfortunately Lost Boys, next door played blaring loud music until the early hours on the Thursday night we stayed. It went on until 3:40am and there were people screaming and doors slamming etc. I slept through it ok. My other half really struggles to sleep anyway and could hear it through his earplugs. - The sink is right under a shelf so it’s difficult when brushing your teeth to get your head under to rinse without spitting all over the floor (it’s a wet room style, so doesn’t matter too much). - The shower I don’t think has a heating element. We didn’t mind this as it was so hot anyway but it fades from luke warm to cold. It also doesn’t point in a convenient place and you end up just taking it off its fixed mount to wash. We didn’t mind but it did make shaving my legs awkward. It also has the pressure of a pressure washer so be careful when turning it on. - The mosquito net over the bed just about stretched around the bed but it had some small holes in it which means it’s probably not as effective. - The tent zip is only on the outside meaning zipping it up at night from the inside can be quite awkward.
We were a bit apprehensive to stay here given the lack of reviews. We were put to rest when we arrived and the owner said he’s only been up and running for 3 months. The good points: - Clean facilities and flushing toilets, always stocked up with toilet paper. - Shared bathroom, only between c.2 huts and never saw anyone else in there. There are 4 bathrooms to use on site and approx. 10 huts. - Great location, nearer to the main pier but 15/20 min walk to Long Set Beach via the beach walk (expect to get wet as you need to walk through a clean lagoon, about knee height depending on time of day and where you cross). - The main pier has a lot more restaurants and shops than long set beach. - The owner was really nice, asked us how we were each day and helped us when we got food poisoning (from Coco’s Restaurant). You can tell his takes a real pride in the place and is trying his best. - Comfortable bed & pillows - something that isn’t that easy to find in Asia it seems. - In the bush experience without too many bugs - bring your mosquito spray! There is a net above the bed. - Lockable safe & tent. - Feet wash area outside before going in the hut to keep things clean. - Plug socket - Fan - it didn’t get uncomfortably hot that we were desperate for A/C. - There are some handy rustic hooks & place to put your stuff up off the floor inside.

BelgiumThe area can be a bit noisy sometimes. If you want real quietness, best to stay north of the island.
The huts are very descent but (like every place on the island - except if you pay a lot of money maybe) quite basic. The owners were amazing. They invited me and other guests to the birthday of their little daughter and we had a great night. The outside common area was still under construction during my stay but after hearing the owners plans I think this place will be even better in a few months. Very good value for your money!

PolandThe place is EXTREMELY loud (and I mean it). It is located just in between two party places that play music till late/early morning hours. Then if you look for a place to rest and chill out, that's not a place for you. After I complained they moved me to another house which was a bit more quiet and somehow bearable but still far from okay. The staff also behaves very loudly, drinking alcohol, doing barbecues, talking loud and playing another loud music every night just next to houses which is very disrespectful to guests. There is NO wi-fi at all (despite being mentioned in the booking offer). There are no bikes to rent (despite being mentioned in the booking offer). The houses don't face the sea but quite ugly and cluttered yard. Showers are only cold.
Houses/tents are really nice, clean, well-equipped and secured. There is electric kettle, safe box, mosquito nets, a lot of hangers. It was really lovely to stay there. Bathrooms are also cool as they're actually outdoor, and always supplied with soaps, toliet papers etc. It would be a great place if placed in a different location and with better management. After I complained, the staff reacted and partly solved my problems which I really appreciate but due to many inconvenience I can't give a higher rate.
