The stairs are very, very steep. You have to leave your shoes at the entrance to the house. The gate to the hotel is locked at night and not unlocked until the morning.

Not a big hotel but a small family-run guest house in a local area so you get a taste of what life is really like for the average Cambodian eeking out a living.

Just the location

As soon as we entered the property we felt calm. The owners were super helpful, friendly and accommodating. In the middle of the hustle and bustle of the city centre we found quiet! We had a great nights sleep in a comfortable clean bed!

Really really nice people who own the homestay! Room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The windows had mosquito nets across which was really good! Bathroom was clean and the shower was good.

Phnom Penh is a massive city but this accommodation seemed far from the "city centre". We walked for about 1.5km without finding suitable restaurants. We took tuktuk rides everywhere to see sites. We booked a fan room and it was south facing so it was really warm all day and night. It was difficult to sleep.

Very friendly staff. Good value for money. Bed was comfortable and bedroom was very clean.

The accommodation is located in a loud and dirty neighborhood. Be aware to book a room with Aircon, as not every room has one, as there are fan-only rooms (our fault, we did not read the advert in detail ✌️)

The room was very hot, although we were aware that there was no aircon and it was in the midst of a heatwave - not the owners fault.

The owner and his family are so lovely and the room was just what we needed as a stop over. The room was clean and the bed was comfy and big.

A clean, good value and organised property run by a lovely family and out of the tourist zone. The location was more authentically Cambodian but it was just a couple of dollars away from the main action. Really worth it!

I was expecting Drayer Shampoo Body wash Tooth Brush and other necessary things I know the price is low but it's compensated as the location is not great. And the noise of songs from the opposite building is annoying at night plus I do not know my room would be on the 5th floor as it was hot with no AC I requested AC by paying more but they says they are full

Excellent hosts, lovely family ran business. Although it is a little outwith the city centre, it offers excellent opportunities to see up-and-coming areas in Phnom Pehm, such as TTP and Russian Market. As well as being a short tuk-tuk ride to Toul Seng Genocide Museum

At first I booked a room without air conditioning, but it was impossible to get hot as it is the top floor and the sun heats up the room very much. I would not recommend staying in a room without air conditioning. So I had to take a bigger room with a $4 supplement. Music under the windows from 18 to 21 (for sure on weekends, I don’t know on weekdays). This is very annoying, especially in a non-air conditioned room where you have to open the window. The internet was slow, but that's how it seems in all of Cambodia maybe

I was in the fan-only room and I was surprised how well it kept the room cool. The staff is friendly and happy to offer up suggestions and recommendations. A bit of a walk to the downtown area, but definitely manageable.

We arrived at 10pm as we got a train from Kampot to Phnom Penh and on arrival we were told that they had made up the wrong room for us and accidentally thought we were in an AC room (which we were confused about because when booking it said all the rooms had AC) so they then asked us to wait 20 minutes while they made up a non AC room and asked us to go out and find somewhere to eat, bare in mind it was late, pitch black and not a very safe feeling area. When we came back they took us to the room which still had an AC unit in it?! The owner then proceeded to angrily tell us not to use the AC as he would know and we haven't paid for it...even though we didn't have the remote so not sure how we would've used it even if we wanted. Overall not a very pleasant man or experience, glad we only stayed 2 nights and not more!

The room was clean and spacious and the owners children were very lovely and their English was so advanced considering how young they were!
