It was an absolutely beautiful property, filled with fruit trees, flowers, picturesque outdoor seating areas and best of all a few kittens. Simple but clean rooms were situated 5 minutes from the lake. The staff were lovely, cooking up delicious dinners and were also incredibly understanding when the ATM nearby broke and let us pay in AUD. Warm and welcoming, this guesthouse exceeded our expectations

The village is hard to get to without your own car. We needed to do 2 separate hitchhikes from Bishkek - would not recommend trying in the afternoon since the marshrutkas don't run after a bit. There are supposed to be marshrutkas from Bishkek but no one could give us information on where they left from. Leaving Tosor is also a bit annoying since you have to "go to the main road and wait for a bus". Luckily we only waited 30 mins. If you can get here, the lake is very nice.

Very good place to relax for a couple of days at Issy-Kul lake. Simple rooms with everything you need. Lovely apricot orchard and very nice outdoor area/lounges to relax. Great breakfast with homemade jam, cake. Direct access to the lake though the garden - 3min walk to the beach. Eco friendly family run business 😀

Everything. The place is beautiful, full of apricot trees that you can eat directly from the branch. The breakfast and dinner are outstanding. 2 min walk from the beach. Very well organised, and the team speaks good English. Easy to go to the Fairytale valley hitchhiking on the main road. The mashrukta stop is on the main road too, on the left. We can’t wait to go back!

The only that could be a disadvantage that the toilet and the shower was outside, next to the rooms but those were also very clean and well maintained.

The hosts are very friendly and hospitable, the place is right next to the beach so its very easy to walk there. The room was clean, everything was good for this price.

Great location, friendly staff, welcoming environment. We booked the upper level of the accommodation and had a magnificent view above the lake and the mountains. You can watch the sunrise over the lake while lying in bed-It’s a stunning sight! Eldos family went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as it possibly could be. They served Tea, Snacks from their beautiful garden and cooked delicious meals (vegetarian option available and very yummy). Eldos himself drove us up to the fairytale canyon and picked us up again at a time agreed upon previously.

We arrived quite late in the evening, so we didn't get any information about meals. Throughout our stay, we felt rather ignored (which seemed super weird for Kyrgyzstan!). Also, note that to get to the private bathroom, you first need to go out (in September it was already quite cold at night). Nevertheless, the stay was very pleasant.

Beautiful place with a lovely garden! Great location next to the beach, close to the main road and to a decent restaurant. The room was very cozy and the bed was very comfortable. The whole area was clean and well kept. There were quite a lot of people, and yet there was no problem with privacy. If I ever come to Issyk-Kul again, I'll be happy to stay in Eldos-Ata.

A bit far from the main road but close to the lake. The bathroom is a bit far from the room, and if it's raining or cold, it's harder to reach. No generator, we stayed a while without electricity

I felt very good because they had a country vibe at grandparents: a big garden, porch, trees, animals and amazing view. The good part is that you can get along with them in English.

We paid for a private room and bathroom, and the bathroom was not connected to the room - you had to go outside and around the building to access it. This should be mentioned in the listing. The first time I tried to access it, the key got stuck in the lock. The owner said they would fix it, but didn’t. They didn’t follow up with me to let me know this, and we had to use the shared bathroom on the other side of the property. They never fixed the bathroom during our stay, and then the owner acted annoyed/ like she was doing me a favor with a “discount” at the end of our stay - we didn’t get what we paid for. So, the property is beautiful, but I did not enjoy my interactions with the owner of the place.

Wonderful place, pictures don't do justice to the garden and structure. It is located in an apricot's tree garden, very peaceful and quiet. Three minutes walk from the beach. Room was big and clean. Bathroom was ok, hot shower (not very good drainage). Best dinner and breakfast we've had in kyrghizistan, strongly reccomended to eat there. Staff was helpful, they could speak english and helped us arrange transportation. Cute cat.

We stayed as a group of 4 motorcyclists travelling across Kyrgyzstan - our hosts were very polite and attentive and the accommodation clean. Meals were alongside other guests and it was great to interact. We had numerous problems with our bikes and staff were very helpful.

A very nice place to relax for a few days. The property (our room, dinning area, garden) is clean and calm and it is only a short walk to the lake. Nice, helpful and smiling staff. Plenty of great local food.

Mobile Internet was very poor in our room, but it was ok in the common area.

The atmosphere at the guest house is fantastic, with lots of travelers from all over the world. The territory is full of fruit trees. Our room was spacious. The bed was perfect. The view of the lake is great. The location is just perfect, only 5 minutes away from the lake. Breakfast and dinner are awesome, featuring homemade Kyrgyz cuisine, and the portions are generous. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
