They provide tea and sugar in the rooms but not milk. You have to pay for a whole cup of milk just to drink a cup of tea. We kept it in the fridge so it lasted for our stay, but this was a big minus. However reception was enthusiastic about our suggestion to provide powdered creamer, so we will see if it's implemented. Towels were ragged and need replacing. Shower door isn't well positioned, so water leaks a lot and soaks the entire floor. Beware of the monkeys on the room balconies. They do warn you on check in, to keep the room sliding door locked..However guests encouraged them to congregate by feeding them. At such times it isn't pleasant to use the balcony. Guests should be advised not to feed them. Breakfast was good but the quality of dinner was disappointing, so we only ate for one evening in the hotel. Fish and pork were very overcooked.Booking.com didn't offer a choice of different views in choosing rooms. Ours overlooked the car park.

If you are a person who likes nice chill places that you can even work ,good ambiance and less crowds this is a place for you... It's location is best. Close to everything and easy to navigate. The rooms are big and beautiful. Great beach front views and well maintained. Make sure to catch the sunsets on your stays. Clean beach area in front of the hotel.. Nice breakfast options loved it..I could go on and on but I loved everything and extended my stay to three more nights..

There are several negatives with this hotel. Water from the taps are very salty, almost like sea water, that you can't even brush your teeth with. The hotel is also relatively far from Mombasa city so taxi is quite expensive. Unfortunately, the sight of several western "sugar daddies" and "sugar mommies" with young locals, living in this hotel was also unpleasant. It might happen in other hotels in Mombasa as well, and some might think that is none of our business, but we didn't like it and is therefore worth to mention.

We stayed here as a family of three and we liked the location of this hotel which was basically on the beach. The pool was of a good size and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful all the time. We got a big room that was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was okay. The food at the restaurant was also good and the prices comparable to other restaurants in Mombasa.

The tide goes way out during the afternoon and in the evening comes back in cutting the beach off completely meaning to get to the other restaurants you have to walk along highway or use tuk tuk. Constant hassle from beach boys who don’t give you any piece. However these are not the hotels issue, but good to know

After living in Makupa with no AC or hot water, this property was luxury to me. Very clean, comfortable, private beach, security, decent breakfast, cheap wine and friendly staff plus sweet cat and cheeky monkeys. Reliable driver, although he does charge more than bolt, however his personality makes up for that.

It’s really nice, nice location in town, beautiful beach and good access. Restaurant is good with fair prices. Facilities are nice and clean. I really enjoyed my 3 day stay. Staff was really helpful and friendly. For the reviews regarding the bathroom water, it’s barely salty. Simply don’t drink it.
