At places like these, the swimming pools should be heated so that this facility can be enjoyed. The Booking.com website stated that the check in and checkout was flexible but the checkout actually was not flexible. We were asked to check out at 10:00 am which is quite early but we negotiated and the staff was kind enough to extend until 11:00 am. However in places like these, checkout should be flexible because its a resort and its faraway from the city!

The location is great, a bit pricey but worth it.

Basic options for vegetarians and Indian cuisine despite the fact that max guests were Indians.

The staff is incredibly helpful and courteous. Special mention to Charles, Maxmillian, and Winnie/Winnie at the restaurant. Rooms are spacious. Right in front of the lake. Lovely views.

All the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The level of service provided by the team was truly exceptional. I especially appreciated that the managers personally greeted guests and took the time to inquire about our needs and the quality of the services provided. This attention to detail made our stay even more memorable.

I did not like the payment method. i travelled with a resident but had to pay as two foreigners. There was no method to counter this as the payment scheme is a trap. I think Booking . com should be correct. I suspect it will come back with "I told you so" excuse. I will try to use other companies in the future and warn people of this scam

definitely would be the mosquitoes, despite having insect nets on the door, as soon as you open them, they fly in, the resort should consider having electric mosquito repellent instead of mosquito spray only.

The room is quite spacious, situated in front of the lake, very nice view. staff are formidable, very welcoming and friendly, including the restaurant ones.

During dinner, tables were booked by other organizations, resulting in us being forced to sit at the same table for dinner, lunch, and breakfast throughout our stay. This occurred despite our requests to be seated elsewhere or change tables.

The only thing I can think of not liking was the rough bumpy road leading to the hotel, but it's manageable though.

The staff were very pleasant. Evans was very helpful to me from the day I checked in to check out day. Nzai made sure my dining experience was great. He personally made me the best African tea & brought it hot and fresh (I like good tea). The rooms were large with very good hot showers and amenities. Being just next to lake elementaita, the lake view from my room was refreshing. It was overall a very lovely place. I highly recommend....Good for groups, families, couples, solo travelers, etc.

The internet was very poor, and the fridge in the room did not work at all - and the staff refused to replace/repair it.

Stingy policies. We were on full board and yet we have to pay for water at meal time. Only one small bottle per person in the room (additional chargeable). WiFi was unstable. Breakfast ended at 9am, much too early for our taste while on holiday. Overall staff needs a lot of training, the whole time we felt like the lodge had just opened because everyone was confused and took forever to bring drinks or bills, extra room key, no idea of local attractions at front desk, etc.

The room was large and clean with a great view on the lake. Towels were white and soft. Pillows were plenty and soft, fridge was an actual fridge not those stupid electric chiller we see more and more (which don't chill anything). The breakfast and meals buffets selection were varied and tasteful.

The access road is in very bad shape. You need a 4 wheel drive vehicle. The food is very basic for a 4 star hotel. The room which we booked was not ready when we arrived in the afternoon.

The location is great by the lake with a nice view on the sleeping warrior and Soysambu reserve.
