Everything was perfect

Me and my girlfriend stayed in Ocean Village Club during 11 nights. It was the most amazing Hotel that i stayed in all my life, and i travel quite a lot in different continents. The location was exceptional, the room was very comfortable, the food was amazing every day, and the Beach was beautiful and changed during the day between low and high tide creating always very different atmospheres. There is also a Gorgeous Sand Bank in front that you can visit with Dhow Boat. In my Case we want 2 times with Salim and his colleagues and it was a perfect snorkelling. :) But what i liked mostly was the people in the Hotel.It was amazing and im pretty sure that everyone will feel at home and so much welcome there. I never had so good elsewhere worldwide.Everyone was more than friendly. :) I would like to thank all so much (Islam, Susan, Boi, Athman, Hakimu, James, John Juma, Fatma, Hassan, both Hamisi, Khamisi, Cellina, Mwinyi, Mande, Maingu, Ester, Jakson, Hidaya, Alfan, and specially to Mohamed Ali and Patrick that you provided us such a gorgeous holidays in you're beautiful country. Probably the best resort that we have visited during our travels around the world. The place is really magnificent, especially beach and the pool area. Rooms are nice and very clean but the food was truly amazing and original. Most of all, we truly liked the staff. Everyone is kind, polite and professional. It was really a pleasant surprise. Special thanks to waiter Islam, also to Mohamad Ali, Hamisi and two dinner chefs Kelvin and Mure and to the guys at the breakfast serving delicious eggs and pancakes. Without exaggeration – Ocean Village Club is the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at. Every glowing review you read about this place is 100% true. I’ve worked in tourism for many years, I’ve traveled a lot myself and stayed in countless hotels around the world – from luxury resorts to Swiss hotels famous for their world-class service. But I never imagined the PERFECT hotel would be in Kenya. What makes Ocean Village Club so special is their unique “no tipping” policy. Instead, the staff are rewarded with bonuses based on great guest reviews. It completely changes the way people work – I called it “the circle of happiness” here. You can really feel that everyone loves what they do. The team is genuinely friendly, warm, and attentive – they remember your preferences, anticipate your needs, and solve any issue instantly. As a result, guests are happy and relaxed, the staff are proud of their work, and the whole place just glows with good energy. The atmosphere is pure comfort and peace – it’s the kind of place you never want to leave, and you definitely want to come back. Quite easily one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in anywhere! Thank you to everybody at OVC for taking such great care of my friend and I! We can’t wait to be back already Customer satisfaction is at the heart of Ocean Village Club! My friend and I are always greeted with a warm smile and questions about how they can make our stay better whenever we come across the staff, and everybody remembers our names. We loved that the staff took pride in working at the hotel, and they took time to note our personal preferences. For example, my friend had taken a liking to pineapple slices with chocolate sauce and Muhammad Ali never failed to ask whether she wants a portion of it whenever we show up at mealtimes! Manager Hamisi also gave us a very warm welcome, ever ready to assist in any way we needed. My friend fell ill during our stay and couldn’t eat much at breakfast —not only did he kindly provided her some medication, he had also very kindly offered us complementary lunches later that day, anticipating that she probably was hungry by that time of the day. These are just 2 examples among many that spoke to their focus on providing the best service possible. Mealtimes are always a joy as the food cooked by chefs Regina and Made (sorry if I got his name wrong!) are EXCEPTIONAL! We dined at Ali Barbour’s Cave Restaurant one evening and agreed that the food at OVC easily surpass any dish we had that evening. Cocktails are also AMAZING and are priced very fairly! The hotel grounds are kept impeccable at all times, and we couldn’t be happier with our room. Everything was in perfect working order, and we felt so pampered with the nightly turndown service. OVC provided 2 pillow options and they were both great — yet another testament to the hotel’s eye for detail. The moment we entered the hotel gates, it felt really calm and serene. And we could see this in other guests’ faces too.

They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, including delicious gluten-free options that made our stay even more enjoyable. The Al la carte dinner portions could be bigger, although we could ask for refills, it just took a while. The massage was okay, nothing great.

Amazing staff, everyone without fail was friendly and kind, the rooms were a good size and authentic rustic style, food was very tasty. Very peaceful place with stunning views of the beach and nice pool.

I didn't like the fact that you couldn't have guests over. I had a meeting I needed to conduct, but had no choice but to leave the hotel, rather than inviting people overl.

Mohammed took great care of us while we were by the sunbeds. Amazing chap! Also, the breakfast here was impeccable. Great selections and with Prosecco for breakfast... can't really go wrong there.

Wifi signal and stability definitely needs improvement. Weak signal in the room, no signal in restaurant at all, at the beach same situation.

Truly, I can not say anything bad about this property and our stay. We were absolutely satisfied with everything ( food, room, service, staff ). Everyone has been so friendly and helpful, food was very delicious ( especially when you like Indian cousine ), room was always cleaned and tidy, servise was at high level. Definitely recommend this hotel for the stay where you want to relax and enjoy time by the sea 🫶🏽

The staff were amazing. So attentive and extremely friendly. We had great conversations and it made the stay feel much more special. The food was delicious. Breakfast and dinner buffet were great. The fish and chips for lunch were the best I've had. The resort was backed right on to the beautiful beach. You can walk straight out and enjoy.

EVERYTHING! The rooms, property, restaurants, beach, staff, beverages and food!!! We did not meet a staff member that did not go above and beyond to make our stay amazing! They are all super friendly, accommodating and willing to talk to us/help us! The food was outstanding. We would highly recommend getting a massage as well as doing a glass boat trip. We celebrated our daughters birthday, we had the candles, they brought out a cake and sang for her! I didn’t not ask for a full cake they did that all on their own! As they have a specific no tipping policy (which all guests adhere to from what we could observe), they ask all guests to leave a review. if they have all 5 star reviews at the end of the month ALL staff gets a bonus!

The grounds were immaculate and well maintained. The rooms were made of stones and sound proof. It had great amenities. Customer service was excellent. Food was delicious. The best part was the hospitality; the staff always went above and beyond. I have stayed in the neighboring resorts including baobab. In my opinion this is the best resort. I normally don’t do reviews but I made an exception on this one.

We had our best vacation here. Our room was very comfortable and we also made good use of the tennis court and swimming pool. The absolute highlight was however the absolute best staff. They were all super friendly, warm, polite and even funny. Everyone did their very best to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The food was also delicious every single time. This was already our second stay and we already looking forward to our next one.
