The wifi is not working in the rooms, only the main place and kitchen

Next store to Bambo restaurant so the single outside double rooms get some background music but didn't bother me.

Chill place with nice feel. Location within 1km from crafy camelon or Geco Cafe bar/restaurants (some of the best pubs in Nairobi). close to supermarkets at jungle mall and livington mall. Jungle Mall has gym (smartgym) with very good machines (1200 ksh day visit). Tours eg (Mt Kenya) can be arranged. Drinking water refills free. Nice large double bedroom. Excellent value.

Lovely place, very relaxing with big gardens. Many trees, birds and even I saw VERVET monkey on trees. Safe also. Rooms are very spacey. My bad is large and very comfotable. Mosquito nets are available.

The bed is comfortable . But there is lot of mosquitoes , the mosquitoes net doesn’t help that much . The toilet is the problem. Not that clean . The location, I don’t know cos Nairobi is big . The nearest shopping mall is like 20 minutes walking

I had a little issue opening the gate myself but it was very early in the morning , so no big worry about it

Very "homey" place. Extremely good for relaxing and meeting new people. I really loved the Ethiopian and Italian nights where everybody eats together and the volley ball games :)

The bar (gastropub?) next door has some pretty loud blaring music that will continue past midnight. Not the hostel's fault but something to keep in mind. One of the showers seemed to also have some electrical current running through the knobs, though we notified staff so hopefully that has been fixed by now.

Calm location with a small garden, plenty of shared seating area and some board games, all hidden away from the evening traffic in the street. Excellent and friendly staff making this a top starting/finishing location for a Kenya vacay

The property was very cold. The door was left open during the day/evening with cigarette smoke wafting into the inside common area.

Mad Vervet is a good value stay in Nairobi. The location is some distance from the city centre but there are cafes and restaurants nearby. The bathrooms were clean and showers hot.
