Wonderful place, very cheerful and welcoming staff. We felt like at home, the beach was less than 5 min away by walk, the hotel had its own staff on the beach with all needed equipment including sunbeds and towels. Very close from Diani supermarket and the main restaurants and bars. Would 100% come again !

Location and proximity to the beach. Safe and private room. A beautiful place with a clean swimming pool with great views and facilities. The staff were amazing and service top notch. Close to town so could walk to restaurants and shopping centre. Great for divers as it’s part of their service offering but also great for non divers.

Not much really. There's no restaurant so you need to go out for dinner which means taking a tuk-tuk unless you are very comfortable walking in Kenya after dark - but they are cheap and very plentiful so it's no big deal.

Beautiful place at a good price. Looks just like in the photos. Very friendly staff, delicious breakfast, one minute walk to the beach. The dive school is also recommended. On my second day, they recognised I was more experienced than the rest of the day's divers and so they sent an extra dive guide along to give me a private trip to the Alpha Funguo wreck, which was a fantastic dive site.

I spent wonderful days here! The architecture is beautiful, all the stuff are very nice, and the access to the white sand beach is very easy. There are wonderful restaurants in walking distance. The breakfast at the village is amazing! I especially loved the homemade pineapple jam, so I bought a bottle of it. I was able to see various kinds of monkeys. They are so cute!!

Stay here The staff is wonderful. I truly felt at home. The beach was lovely and clean (as were the rooms and facilities). Breakfast was delicious and plentiful and possibly the best coffee i had in Kenya.

Nothing jumps out. I really did have a great time. The only difficulty I had was in finding the location off the main road. I think this is mostly due to arriving very late and if I had booked earlier I would have been better prepared.

Where to start. GREAT EXPERIENCE. *Check-in* I arrived late in the evening as I booked the room last minute and they were just closing their admin for the day. Still though, the welcome was great. I had had a nightmare day with other accommodations that I had to cancel so it was a relief to see friendly faces and get a freshly squeezed juice :) *The room - part 1* I stayed for 3 nights, the first of which was in a regular double room, the 2nd and 3rd nights were in the safari tent. Starting with the regular room. This was great, the bed was very big and very comfortable. The shower is saltwater which was actually fine, I could barely tell the difference. The room itself has a very calm, relaxed feel about it. There is a stocked fridge with fresh water and other drinks, lots of plug sockets etc, and a very good mosquito net over the bed. *The room - part 2* For nights 2 and 3, I stayed in the Safari tent which was amazing. It is a self contained solid housetent close to the beach. Once again the bed was huge and comfortable, with a great mosquito net. There are two single beds in there also - probably great for families sharing the same space. The bathroom / pantry room is quite big, with plenty of space on the dressing surface, shelves, a fridge and kettle. There is a large terrace with dinner table with beach view through some trees, this also includes a day bed. One thing to look out for is not to leave food on the table because the monkeys will have it! They're not aggressive at all though, just cheeky and opportunistic, and very cute *SCUBA Diving* I hadn't intended to do any diving at all but I bumped into some of the instructors and they talked me through what was available. I went for the very reasonably priced beginner experience (165eu for 3 dives, one in the pool to learn the equipment, then two at sea off the boat). I loved all three. *Staff* I've run out of space but everyone was amazing. Breakfast was sensational too.

The pressure of the flushing of the water in the toilet was really bad... The water in the swimming pool isn't very transparent, so I didn't have the occasion to swim in it. There is no lunch or diner possibility at the hotel. You must take a tuktuk or walk on the beach, which is unsafe for a solo travelling women in the evening... But you have a kitchen in the room so you may buy food before at the market and eat at the room.

The staff, especially the breakfast staff and the bar attendant were amazing ! The garden is beautiful with some monkeys visiting daily. The room has AC and a mosquito net. The direct access to the beach leads to the most beautiful place !!!

Amazing place right at the beach, you don't have to go outside. Inside the resort you have plenty of places where you can sit and relax. Swimming pool is clean and very nice. Staff is amazingly friendly good and caring. Owner and office staff is flexible. Rooms are big and have everything you need. Resort is more beautiful than it looks in pictures.

This place is a true gem! Located near the beach, with private beach access (and also comfortable sunbeds), which is guarded by a security guy, also the entrance to the premises is straight from the main street- you don’t need to wander through the bushes and darkness (which happens in other Diani resorts), you just go through the gate (also guarded by a security guy), and you are in the beautiful resort right away. The room was spacious, clean and had all of the needed equipment (towels, AC, fans, bottled water for brushing your teeth, fridge, place to dry your clothes, mosquito net etc.). There’s an amazing patio, where you can just lay back and relax. The staff was A M A Z I N G, especially: Katherine- even though the breakfasts were 11/10, she made it even better, she’s such a lovely, helpful person, sunshine in a human form :); Abdulla- so helpful, easy-going and nice guy, always ready to keep you safe from the monkeys, if they decide to steal your snack ;); Edwin- super-professional, also helpful and just a really nice guy. The premises are in excellent standard, everything is clean and comfortable. The pool is just the cherry on top ;) Very good location, nearby the supermarket and some good restaurants, and once again- VERY VERY SAFE. Our stay at the Diani Marine was a true relaxing experience and a definition of holidays went well :)
