The service operates at fixed times and no prior reservation is required. Please allow us to clarify a few points that may assist future guests: Shuttle Service We offer a complimentary shuttle bus service between the Shirakawa-go Bus Terminal and our hotel at fixed times, and no reservation is required. Near Platform 1 at the terminal, there is a small parking area where a silver vehicle marked “結の庄 / Yuinosho” will be waiting. Please speak to the driver to board. Shuttle Bus Schedule: From Bus Terminal to Hotel (Pick-up) 15:05 / 15:35 / 16:10 / 16:40 / 17:25 / 18:00 If you plan to arrive after the final shuttle, please kindly contact us in advance. From Hotel to Bus Terminal (Drop-off) 9:00 / 9:20 / 9:55 / 10:20 / 10:40 / 11:10 Please note that early pick-up is not available. We kindly recommend storing your luggage at the bus terminal and enjoying sightseeing before boarding the scheduled shuttle. The shuttle is exclusively for transportation between the hotel and the bus terminal—we do not provide service to sightseeing spots. Meal Service Our dinner service (kaiseki-style cuisine) is by advance reservation only. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate same-day requests or walk-ins. As local dining options are limited, especially in the evening, we strongly recommend that guests reserve their meals in advance to ensure a comfortable stay. We truly appreciate your feedback, which is invaluable in helping us improve our service. Regarding your remarks on the dinner, we understand that our traditional Japanese kaiseki cuisine may not always match every guest’s expectations. However, we are honored by your comparison to tapas—kaiseki is indeed a refined, course-based Japanese culinary style, typically served at banquets or formal gatherings. It consists of multiple small, seasonal dishes such as sashimi, simmered items, grilled dishes, and more, concluding with rice, soup, and dessert. Our chefs prepare each meal with care, using fresh local ingredients, and we regret if it did not meet your preferences. As for the location, our property was intentionally built a short distance from the Gassho-style village to help preserve its historic scenery and peaceful environment.
