The staff were very friendly. Although they couldn't speak so much English, they were trying to help and make us understand. We chose a big Japanese style room with an open air onsen which exceeded my expectation. Very nice and special experience. We also tried their special breakfast. Very delicate very Japanese style.

    Not really

The staff were all very nice and helpful. The area is beautiful with just enough to keep you entertained over a weekend.

The beds were uncomfortable. The furniture is all very old and not well kept. The carpet in the lounge area was disgusting and prevented me from enjoying it. The terrace attached to my room looked as if it had not been cleaned for decades. I understand that the hotel is in quite a wet area but I’m not paying for a terrace that is stained green from the weather.

Breakfast was good and all staff are friendly despite they are not well versed in English but they try their best.

The place is generally old and a bit run down

I liked the all you can drink service along with the kakigori. The food and staff were great 👍🏽

The outside shower and the room felt like I was in a basement. Also, locating the hotel can be frustrating even with navigation.

    Quiet neighbourhood and well-kept garden

Did not have any sort of mountain view as advertised! The front-desk staff also tried to get us to pay extra to move into a different room.

A great location with beautiful nature. The room was clean and the room I stayed in had a private Onsen on the balcony which was very nice and relaxing. The staff are very kind and the garden is well organized.

The hot bath are the high light of the place! Beautiful! But they are only open from 6-10 am and 4-10 pm so you can't use them for a big period of time in the day. If you catch the right weather, you can see Mt. Fuji from the lower bath.

The place is clean but it's dingy. It needs a paint job and new carpets. The carpets are wrinkled and some wall paint peeling. The landscaping is sad. The location is difficult. You need a car! It's $20-40 for a taxi anywhere and buses hardly run in the area. The hotel will provide breakfast and dinner but they charge $100 per person for dinner and $20 for breakfast. The food looked good but not $100 good! That being said, it was fine for the price. I would stay there again, and bring a car!
