Cute property with nice staff. The pods are very comfy and smell and feel clean. Very different from a capsule hotel in Tokyo. The bath facility was also exceptional.

Had intended to stay here to hike Fuji but it looked like the bus from shin-Fuji station leaves much later than I expected.

Warm hospitality! The atmosphere was welcoming, the amenities were excellent, and everything was thoughtfully arranged to make us feel relaxed and comfortable.

What the town lacks in attractions, the hostel itself compensated in facilities (1 person onsen, communal area with a relaxing vibe and the option to buy drinks, clean sleeping area etc) & great services. Also it's really close from Shin-Fuji station, as well as a few shops and places to eat. The owner/person working at reception is a really cool guy who knows English that recommended some great places to take photos of Mount Fuji (ありがとうございます). Overall great price-value accommodation.

Shin-Fuji itself doesn't have much to offer for visitors, but this isn't the hostel's fault.

Everything was perfect, wonderful place. It was amazing. Owners are really great hosts and welcoming people

It is close the shin-fuji train station and very authentic place.

It is far from the fuji train station which is different than shin-fuji station.

Place was stunning, the bath was phenomenal, and location was great - I didn’t go to the lakes or anything but was such a lovely and peaceful place.

English speaking and helpfull employees. Great view on Mt Fuji. Amazingly close from station. It was fully wooden and cozy place.

It was close to road and light sleeper would have issue fallimg asleep.

Excellent space for travel. Ofuro was amazing.

Nothing to dislike. Airflow was a bit slow at night, but was not particularly uncomfortable

I loved staying in this traditional Minka house, the host was friendly and helpful.

The place was nice for the price, although a little pricey for us. We liked the staff as they were very kind and helpful, provided a bath daily for us and many other things we needed.

The place was close to shinkansen and train stations so every 5 - 10 minutes you hear a loud train go by, the place needed some hooks to hang towels and clothes which could be easily installed on the thick wooden beams around the room. Had very weird dreams in this place but its a hostel, many different people sleep there. Maybe some sage would be nice.

Best dormitory hotel ever. There are two mini-onsens that you can use by yourself but you have to reserve for them. The place itself is an old Japanese house so you will definitely experience some cultures here. There are two izakayas nearby so I just dropped by there. You will definitely love this place so do not ever skip this opportunity. P.S the dormitory rooms are a little soundproof so you don't need to worry a lot about other rooms when you are unpacking your luggage.

The hot tub is amazing, especially during a cold day and sore legs. The place is few minutes walks from Shin Fuji station

Very far from the attraction area, public transport there are not very easy to access compare to Tokyo. The living room is abit cold and when you need to go to the toilet, the walkway is very cold

It really had a “Ryokan” feel without the price tag that comes along with it! Also no food but that didn’t bother me, there was a convenience store close by and plenty of restaurants within a 15 minute walk.

The traditional Japanese aesthetic and the staff were exceptional!

Staffs, very clean, the bath, the room and so near to the station! Perfect!
