A little far from the main happo bus stop, so if you have luggage with you and not driving, something to consider

Lovely service, we even got dropped off by the staff to our bus stop. The morning breakfast was excellent!! And love the lights around the property, made it for a cost vibe!

I will be recommending this hotel to everyone. So lovely and comfortable and convenient.

The staff were unbelievably helpful and drove us to restaurants, the bus station, anywhere we wanted to go. They went out of their way to help us with everything during our stay. The location was 10/10 with a bus stop out the front to take you to the slopes and an easy walk around the corner to restaurants, bars, and ski hire. Also about a 10minute walk to a supermarket and the train station.

Kenji and the staff were exceptional. They went above and beyond with customer service. Hotel was cosy and homely. Nice communal areas. Having a sauna and onsen at the hotel was also a massive bonus as well as a lovely breakfast each morning.

Beautiful property with a fantastic location, opposite the ski shuttle bus to Hakuba 47 and Imori. The best thing about this property is the staff, they went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable and relaxing and were so helpful and kind. Cannot wait to stay again!

Everything!! the property was amazing we was there for 2 nights and it was perfect, the owner offered to pick us up from the station but I didnt see the message till I got to the apartment 😅 when we arrived the staff checked us in quickly and even gived us a tour of the property which included and nice bath and sauna area to use, location wise is perfect for skiing they had a bus stop to two different ski resort out side of the property. When we arrived to check out the owner asked where we was going and gived us a free lift to bus station free of charge, the customer service from this place is amazing would 100% recommend

Our stay at hotel Wohnen was absolutely wonderful, everything was perfect! A special thanks to Kenji for taking such great care of us and making us feel like home. The hotel in a perfect location, and the room was beautiful and cozy. All the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly Highly recommended for anyone to stay while visiting Hakuba!

We liked, for first the team! They was so kind for us and take care about all what we was needed.. The breakfast was good for start the day, and the dry ski clothes room was good.. Our room was comfortable enough, but it was situated just above the kitchen of a separate French bistro, which is connected to the hotel, so each night smells from dinner would make their way up into our room and it was overwhelming at times (side note - the restaurant is sub par and does not deserve the 5 star rating it has). Next time we will request to book a room away from the dining area or on the first floor.

Great location, just down the road from the bus stop to take you to Happo One base, where you can pick up another bus to the other resorts. Also walking distance to lots of restaurants. Kenji and Kaori are the sweetest, kindest, most hospitable duo who made our stay at Hotel Wohnen special. They were communicative, accommodating with rides to/from the train station and late check out. They were also genuinely excited for our ski adventures and are happy to offer up advice and wanted to know how it was out on the hill each day. It's nice when you know the people running the place are also getting out to play where they live. The private onsen is wonderful and it's nice you don't have to pay extra for it, you just have to mark your time slot at the beginning of each day.

Nitpicking here but perhaps it would be great if we can have the option to use the private bath in the morning as well. However, not a big deal at all as if we really wanted to shower, we can use the bathroom inside the room.

Breakfast was included in the price and daily, we were served a salad, croissant, eggs of your choice and a protein (smoked salmon, grilled salmon or sausage). Location is great. Right in front of the shuttle bus stop and a short 10 minutes walk to the bar/ restaurant area. Room is cozy and relaxing although slightly small(Japan size). Bath is private and you can book a 45 minutes time slot daily. Super nice and calm to relax after a long day on the slopes. The staff/owner were super helpful with everything in terms of transportation or any questions we had.

Very cosy small hotel with great location to ski buses. The staff was very service oriented, even helping with train tickets! Great place to stay for a fantastic ski vacation in a boutique hotel feel. Highly recommend to everyone.

Hotel Wohnen was brilliant. We had three families stay together there and the hosts were so welcoming and accommodating to our needs. The bus stop for 47 & Goryu is right out the front but Happo One is a 10min walk away. Brekky was perfect for getting out quickly to the slopes. Beds were all singles. Hotel Wohnen is not luxury but so comfortable and homely.

To get to the slopes you need to take a shuttle. The Hakuba 47 shuttle is right across the hotel. The Happo-one shuttle is 2 blocks away. Due to the high season, the shuttles were very busy, especially on the way back, so we ended up walking back from the ski resort to the hotel with the equipment. It would be a great plus if the hotel offered some kind of shuttle service in the morning and afternoon, or offered to pick up/drop off guests at the bus station on arrival/departure.

The hotel was lovely, and it was completely covered in snow which made it magical. The bed is like sleeping in a cloud. The staff were very friendly and willing to help us when needed. There's a dry room for ski equipment, breakfast is included and it was delicious (we had toast, salmon and omelette), the onsen is very nice as well (you need to book it in the morning if you wish to use it) and the restaurant in the hotel serves delicious French dishes. It is quite pricey but if you want to treat yourself it's definitely worth it. Echoland centre is close, around a 10-minute walk. You can also walk to Happo-one which takes around 30 minutes.

This accomodation is a cosy retreat. There was a private sauna and bath along with breakfast everyday. The staff were really welcoming and kind. Location wise it was close to Echoland, this was especially convenient when it came to dinner. Along with that, it was close walk to the free shuttle bus stops to the snow resorts. They also have a drying room to store your ski and snowboarding gear.
