We were so glad to have found Okinawa Grand Mer Resort — a true sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of Naha, especially during the busy Golden Week. Nestled in a quieter part of the island, this hotel offered us a perfect mix of comfort, convenience, and nostalgic charm. The property feels like it was built during a time when hotels were made to last — solid, classic, and beautifully maintained. Stepping inside felt like boarding a luxurious cruise ship, complete with elegant interiors and warm hospitality. One of the highlights was our room’s balcony view — absolutely stunning — and the array of amenities, many of which were complimentary, added so much value to our stay. A car rental is highly recommended to explore the area, and thankfully, the hotel makes it incredibly easy. We booked directly with them for just ¥8,500 per night, which was already a steal compared to outside rental services — plus we were able to return the car at midnight, which was super convenient. Pro tip: Coordinate your flights with the hotel’s shuttle schedule to save yourself an ¥8,000 taxi fare. From Naha Airport: 10:30 / 13:30 / 17:00 From the hotel: 9:00 / 12:00 Highly recommend if you're looking for a peaceful, well-run escape with old-school charm and practical comforts.

IndiaIf you want to stay in a quiet area with a good breakfast and a 5 min taxi drive to the biggest mall Rycom , this is your place .It's not a walking distance to most places in Okinawa CBD. Rooms are nice and big . 4 star hotel rooms . Breakfast 4 star . After 9 pm the reception staff are of no real help . Especially in getting your bags up to your rooms . But overall a very good hotel if the expectation is an entry level 4 star experience. Room rents correspond to the overall quality . In our case that is . It's in a hilly area with a great view. My 9 year old son loved the hotel .

JapanThe bathroom was a toilet/ bath combo and it was a little tight on space. Also can’t control the temperature in the room but we didn’t mind too much.
The room was spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My family enjoyed our stay here. It’s up on a hill so the view was great. They have a small take out menu that was really convenient after a long day out. Cute gift shop. We requested a crib for our stay and they loaned us one for free. Would stay here again.

United StatesAbout the airport pickup at the airport, we need to let the hotel in formed a day before the arrival. It should be automatically scheduled when someone is booked at their premises upon arrival.
It's a very good experience to stay at Grand mer hotel, staffs are courteous,nice and friendly,accommodating,except for the pool that I didn't know it's not available for me to enjoyed at. Pricey, but I love the ambiance inside and out, and I hope they make amends about their airport shuttle pick-up program, especially upon arrival in the airport very important factor for the new arrivals in the island.

Property itself was faultless they even provide a delightful little “ happy hour” with a unique variety of items you can help yourself to. The courtesy bus to the airport and the local shopping centre is a god send. This service was our only link to the outside world.

United StatesIts an older building. The location is away from any walking distance to restaurants or shopping areas. Its isolated on a hill. Rooms are expensive, why, I don't know. Bathrooms are very small and hard to maneuver inside. It was not worth what I paid for. The food was okay, however, lunch and dinner, are the same menu for THREE MONTHS. YES, THREE MONTHS. We had to take a cab to eat at distant restaurants. We could not stomach eating the same thing over and over.
