Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

For the money, this was the best. Great view and facility. Beautiful place. Golf lovers' paradise.

AustraliaNo restaurant, no where to buy any food nearby . Breakfast not very nice and no choice .
I chose here as didn’t want to drive through Naha on landing. It really is in middle of no where with no facilities or restaurant. Be ok if you’re into golf . Very dated , think Japan boom times 1980s. Breakfast not my liking. Bed was amazing and great room size. Beautiful view.

United StatesThe curtains did nothing to keep the sun out of the room. If you have giant windows facing the sunrise, not everyone will want to wake with the sun. There is not much to do in the area. At the time, women's Onsen was the smaller of the two, with no view and a much smaller pool than the image shown. I wish both baths were identical; I felt disappointed that I wouldn't get the nice view. I also didn't like that I had to wait until 11 am to go to the Onsen. I would have liked to go in the morning time. Not technically bad, but of note: there is no breakfast 'buffet'. You order a la carte from their set menu.
Loved the variety of drinks during breakfast. The views were lovely from the hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious. I appreciated the Onsen. We liked walking the grounds. We did not golf, but it looked like a large area with a wonderful view.

SingaporeDining options at the hotel are limited and not always available, so it's necessary to venture out by car to explore nearby restaurants for meals.
We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious Japanese-style breakfast, which came with generous portions. our room offered stunning sea views, and the restaurant also provide a lovely ocean view. The hotel's proximity to the airport made it an ideal choice if you have an early morning flight.

United KingdomIt was a bit dated and showing its age here and there. The door to the toilet/shower area didn't lock and there was a window to the room next to the bath, which is a bit off putting when staying with friends (when the window shutters are closed, it's not possible to see into the bath, but they cannot be locked)
Friendly and helpful staff. Beds were very comfortable. Big shower area and amazing views. The room was very spacious. Finding a place to park was also very easy.

GermanyMattresses were fairly hard for a westerner, still very much workable though
The hot spring was a very pleasant experience. Also the breakfast was probably one of the best I had in Japan. Rooms are very spacious and built with impressive materials. And to a high quality. The pool right outside was also a nice little bonus. All around definitely one of the most unexpectedly good stays.

CanadaThe rooms are spacious and cozy. This luxury hotel, located on Ocean's Beach, is perfect for golf enthusiasts. Although it is far from downtown Okinawa, it is close to the beach and Okinawa World. The staff were wonderful—kind and helpful. Breakfast was included, and unlike other hotels with buffet breakfasts, each day offered different items, which was a pleasant surprise. If you are adventurous with food, you will enjoy it. Additionally, there is a buffet for hot drinks (coffee and tea) and cold drinks (e.g., fruit juice) during breakfast.
It is far from downtown and shopping centers, which meant we spent a lot on commuting. However, as I mentioned, it's a great place for relaxation, playing golf, and enjoying the ocean view from your room balcony.

JapanSmall table, not very comfortable for those who work remotely. Extremely bad wi-fi, most of the times MacBook wasn't able to even connect to the network so I was sharing my mobile internet instead of using their wi-fi. Shower water temperature was quite low, maybe the switch was broken or smth but I turned it to the max possible degree and the water was around 35-38*C. Place itself quite distant from the center of the city so it is preferable to get there by car. Not very convenient for those who travel by foot. Taxi from airport would cost ~4000 yen one way. [For those who DO NOT snorkeling] If you prefer white sand, transparent water and weak waves - this beach is not for you. The entire beach is a giant stone plato under the water with extremely sharp stones and deep pits. The place where stone plato ends is hell deep, i would say more than 20-30m, wasn't able to see the bottom, just the black deepness. Also it is quite distant from the beach (~50m) and waves are strong so it is dangerous to go there without proper snorkeling/diving equipment!
Beautiful place. Hotel located on a cliff close to the ocean. Breathtaking view on the endless ocean from your balcony. Great place to enjoy sunset. Large comfortable room. Large bathroom. Hotel has everything you need to enjoy golf. Close to the hotel down the road there is a beach so you can enjoy the ocean. [For those who snorkeling] Great place for snorkeling! Rich marine life, fishes, corals, etc. But there are a few things that should be considered! The entire beach is a giant stone plato under the water with extremely sharp stones and deep pits. The place where stone plato ends is hell deep, i would say more than 20-30m, wasn't able to see the bottom, just the black deepness. Also it is quite distant from the beach (~50m) and waves are strong so it is dangerous to snorkel without good equipment which gives you a chance to fight current and not being dragged away to the open ocean. Strongly suggest good fins and diving current hooks.

JapanI guess that if you stay here to play golf it’s a good choice, but if you’re looking forward to swim on a nice beach - this is not the right place. On the first glance, the beach looked really good, but then we noticed it reeked of sewege (in fact we later noticed the smell on the hotel grounds too) and it was disgusting. The bottom of the sea was also concrete, which was awful… On top of that, it is hard to reach without a car if you have a suitcase.
I really liked the design of the hotel - it was indeed a bit old school but I enjoyed it. The view was amazing.

Israelthe hotel is quite old nothing (bad with that) there is important thing to note before booking here if you came to Okinawa to swim and enjoy the beautiful beaches and stroll around the shores/shopping area that’s not the location! (if you do book here know that there is a bus number 50 that will take you to the main area, around hour ride and every half hour)+the bus stop is 15 min walk away from the resort (at night it’s really dark)
beautiful view from the rooms in the garden floor big room and nice tub 🛁 big toilet area large refrigerator (if that important to u)
